Ah, just let Summerslam come so Nexus can lose and we can be done with these fools. I do not want to see talented wrestlers like Evan Bourne, Yoshi Tatsu and Jerry Lawler being buried by a 15 year old Heath Slater and David "The D List" Otunga. No one from Season 1 of NXT (other than Bryan Danielson) has any ability whatsoever and they do not deserve airtime.

The main event was not much better though. This weird push of The Miz needs to end right now. The guy should be applying for a Real World reunion show, not gearing up for a title shot.moreless
  • In Main Event John Cena and Chris Jericho takes on Miz and Sheamus.

    7.0
A pretty good show, not great, but good enough. Basically, the intent of the show was to build heat for Nexus which was well done, and show the egos clashing with John Cena's team. Pretty good direction considering everybody expects Nexus to fizzle out after Summerslam, but after watching I am not so sure.

Match #1: Randy Orton vs Jey Uso

Pretty good match. Sheamus comes out on ringside to scout out Randy. Randy wins and takes out Sheamus with an Rko before he can cheapshot him. Pretty good stuff.

Match #2: Great Khali vs Edge

Match ended in no contest when Nexus came out.

Match #3: Jerry Lawler, Hart Dynasty, Mark Henry, Yoshi Tatsu, Goldust & Evan Bourne vs Nexus.

A good victory for the Nexus, though their win comes out guys that are mostly jobbers, but a win is a win.

Match #4: Brie Bella vs Alicia Fox

    Not much to say here.

Match #5: John Morrison vs Ted DiBiase

Good match. Dibiase gets the win.

Match #6: John Cena & Chris Jericho vs The Miz & Sheamus

This was a good match with a lot of egos. Chris Jericho at the top of the show pretty much despite getting a big face pop from the crowd stayed in heel form. Miz is taking a page out of Police's Sting and watching every move Sheamus makes.

The buildup reaches it's climax when Chris turns on John leaving Miz to get easy win.

The show ends here. Pretty smart way of building up the Ppv by putting any push the Raw guys had against Nexus. The Nexus has a decent lineup of stars, so this won't be the squash everyone expects it to be.moreless
