  • John Cena takes on Vince

Good RAW. Don't agree that TNA put on a better show, TNA still has miles and miles to go before they put on a better show than RAW. TNA still used a lot of WWE/ WCW stars and swerves that we've seen before in WCW and there a couple of problems with their creative direction and booking.

This RAW was pretty good. The comedy segments with Criss Angel doing his mindfreak routines were more enjoyable than the Cheech and Chong fiasco from last week.

We start with a great promo by Undertaker and HBK. Hbk probably won't win at Wrestlemania, but the promo was a great way of putting doubt in Undertaker's head.

Match #1: Gail Kim, Eve & Kelly Kelly vs Maryse, Katie Lea & Alicia Fox

    A short divas match.

Match #2: John Morrison & R-Truth vs The Miz & The Big Show

No contest, but it was a good way to make Morrison and Truth out to be legitimate contenders by taking out the Big Show on the outside of the ring.

Match #3: Randy Orton vs Cody Rhodes & Ted DiBiase

Very good match. It's still unclear what type of match we will have with Legacy and Orton, but this put things back in Legacy's favor. All guys worked together well here as always, and I couldn't tell who'd win this match till it was over.

Match #4: Money in the Bank Qualifier: Evan Bourne vs William Regal

A short match but pretty good for what it was. Regal gets the early onslaught on Bourne. Bourne takes a couple of hard shots then responds with a big knee to the head and finishes it off with the his famous dive.

Money in the Bank is looking good even though Christian is pretty much the odds on favorite to win.

HHH and Sheamus confrontation- The expected confrontation after Sheamus beat him up last week.

Decent promo. The good news about this year's Wrestlemania is that HHH won't be in the main event. Better news for Sheamus because this match at Wrestlemania could really solidify his career providing that HHH actually jobs to him.

Match #5: John Cena vs Vince McMahon-

It was turned into a gauntlet match. This was a match to make Cena look strong and make Batista and Vince look weak. This was a good way of showing Cena as a credible threat after weeks off being laid out by Batista. Cena survives the games by Vince, so Vince and Batista have to break the rules to get Cena after Batista said he wouldn't come in during the match. Cena losses but wins by making Batista look like a cheap champion.moreless

While neither show was blowaway quality I think TNA put on a better program tonight. WWE has scheduled three big matches for next week, but this week they headlined things with John Cena vs. Vince McMahon. It is sad that in the year 2010 both wrestling shows main events had someone over the age of 60 in them.

Criss Angel's skit were not horrible, but I would not exactly call them entertaining. I understand why they keep having these celebrity guest hosts (18-49 ratings!) but they are just so played out right now. They are really just there to have these stupid backstage skits.moreless
