Just two weeks until Summerslam and WWE gives fans no reason to order PPV. Randy Orton is clearly going to beat Sheamus, so we can expect the formula where the guy who wins at the PPV gets beaten up the RAW before; expect Orton to get beaten down next Monday night.

And this was just not a good episode at all. Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg were not funny, and there was not a good match on the show. Cena said he had a good match with Jericho, but that was a lie. And why was he crying after it? Weird.moreless
  • A decent build-up to Summerslam

This was an alright episode of Raw. The promo with R-Truth and Edge was silly and made little sense. Edge vs. Wade Barrett was a bit poor. Edge carried the match. The Nexus came down to the ring at the end of the match and Edge ran off. Therefore the math ended in a Draw. Why couldn't the ring announcer announce the outcome? This isn't anything new but this kind of thing confuses some people. The match would have had more feeling if the ring announcer would have announced the official outcome.

After the match Edge left Cena's Summerslam team. I don't care.

Chris Jericho then challenged Cena to a "loser leaves the Summerslam team" match. Whoopdeedoo.

The Diva's match was much more entertaining than most all of the other recent diva matches. Melina returned after the match and attacked Alicia Fox. That's pretty cool.

Sheamus vs. Goldust was entertaining. They fueded on ECW before Sheamus became WWE champion. I thought it was nice to see them have a rematch after Sheamus is a top dog. Chris Jericho vs. John Cena was pretty good. Jericho and Cena always have anywhere from decent to amazing matches. Cena picks up the win. I knew that was going to happen. Jericho rarely defeats Cena. Jericho left the Summerslam team (for now).

The mystery GM announced that next week Cena and Bret hart would team up to face Jericho and Edge. I don't know if that is good or bad. We will see.

The Great Khali vs. Ted Dibiasi was pretty boring. Khali gets the win. All night the Nexus had been trying to get Khali to join them. I wonder what will happen. And why can't Khali learn some English? I know in real life Khali speaks English. I get tired of the translator. The main event was Randy Orton vs. The Miz. It was a decent match. I was really looking forward to this match but it did not end up being as good as it could have been. Nevertheless it was alright. I have to give the WWE credit for atleast trying to establish The Miz as a main eventer.

Overrall it was a decent show. In my WWE rating system I rarely rate below a 7. This episode hangs on by it's teeth and was not given a mediocre score.moreless
  • In the Main Event Randy Orton takes on the Miz.

An interesting show two weeks before Summerslam.

The tension between Cena's team leads two guys to drop leaving a possible 5 on 7 match at Summerslam. The matches were pretty good aside from Sheamus squash.

    Edge vs. Wade Barrett

Edge said he wanted to cut the head of the snake, so he calls out Wade Barrett. Edge gets the better of him, so he has to call out the Nxt team to bail him out. Edge and Cena talk and he decides to drop out of team.

Cena and Jericho have a to end their grudge, but Jericho isn't having it. He says they have a match, so that one of them leaves Team Wwe. Alicia Fox, Jillian and Tamina vs. Eve Torres, Gail Kim and Natalya

An ok match for the Divas. Melina whose been on the shelf for months comes back to make her return. Goldust vs. Sheamus A squash match not much to say here. It doesn't necessarily make Sheamus strong to face a couple of weak jobbers in recent weeks.

Chris Jericho vs. John Cena This was a long match. Pretty good overall. Cena gets the win. He then offers Chris another chance, but he ain't having it.

The Raw Gm see Chris and Edge conspiring to take over things when the whole Nxt thing bowls over, so he sets up Chris and Edge vs. Cena and Bret Hart next week.

Great Khali vs. Ted DiBiase An ugly match though Ted tries to make this match watchable. Randy Orton vs. The Miz

Very good for a Main Event. It could have gone either way. Sheamus is nearby looking at two guys who might take his title away. Randy wins building up steam for Summerslam though it's not exactly a done deal that he'll win as Miz is

adamant that he's gonna be a champ sooner rather than later.

Overall it was a good show.moreless
