  • Unintentionally funny ending.

I find it odd that days after it was reported that Freddie Prinze Jr. was released from WWE's writing team that we get one of the funniest segments in Raw history. For about 6-7 minutes Triple H chased Randy Orton and Legacy around the arena. I do not know if they were going for humor, but this will no doubt go down in infamy. It was like a bad horror movie, and luckily Triple H is creepy looking enough to portray a believable villain (unfortunately he is supposed to be the good guy here).

The CM Punk vs. John Morrison vs. The Miz triple threat was decent, but I know these men are capable of so much more. They were going for a ROH-lite style match, but they botched the execution of a plethora of key spots necessary to do so.

The rest of the matches were just sort of there, with JBL vs. Shawn Michaels being a monumental disappointment. Santino Marella continues to be funny though, even if he is a rip-off of Fez from That 70's Show.

The Chris Jericho vs. Ricky Steamboat segment was outstanding and Steamboat probably showed more charisma during that promo than at any other time during his career. Just a great segment that was given ample time to tell a good story.

This was a night of ups and downs, but unfortunately, as is usually the case, the bad outweighed the good here.moreless

    • The third inductee for the 2009 Class of the WWE Hall of Fame is revealed to be Ricky 'the Dragon' Steamboat. He will be inducted by Ric Flair.

  • QUOTES (4)

    • John Cena: to Edge Fine speech. You know something tells me you're talking so tough…and you all of a sudden got a dose of courage because you're standing in the ring with the barbaric, disgusting, 400 pound beast. And of course you brought the Big Show out too.

    • Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat: Jericho! Do you know what a hypocrite is? Do understand that word? That meaning? You know, I remember about 20 years ago at an autograph session, I remember signing an autograph for you. I also remember how you said that you had admired me and that I was your hero. You wrote that in your autobiography And then about 10 years ago when you came to the WWE you were this snotty brat wrestler of a kid that turned down the wrestling fans, and then within a year, less then a year, you embraced them. What did you call them? Jerichoholics? Then you spent the next several years turning on them, embracing them, turning on them, embracing them, back and forth so on an so off. You know something Jericho? That's a hypocrite. Myself, from the very first time I put on my wrestling tights to the day that I retired, I didn't change. Not once. I gave this audience the respect and entertained them every time I came through that curtain. I never changed. Not once. Now myself, Ric Flair, Roddy Piper and the other legends, we know who we are. And my coming back to work for the WWE behind the scenes, to help our young talent, or future superstars, to teach them, to coach them, to pass the torch so to speak, that's not a sellout. I did it because I love this business. I don't care what you think of me. It really doesn't matter. I'm not a hypocrite. I'm not a sellout. But I am someone you may never be: a Hall of Famer.

    • John Cena: (to Vickie Guerrero) The Board of Directors chose you?! With everybody looking for a job nowadays, hell, we still have Mike Adamle's number, bring him back. At least it was funny when he would screw up on live TV!

    • John Cena: (to Big Show) You were hired to 'take care' of Vickie Guerrero. Wow, Edge, I really didn't think you were that much of a slouch in the bedroom. It gets weird here though, because that's a whole of love! Do you guys cover each other in salted deli meats?
