  • Randy Orton vs. Shane McMahon

How come nobody has pointed out this logic flaw? Shane McMahon wants to "make sure Randy Orton doesn't make it to Wrestlemania". Why would he want to sabotage his company's main event on the biggest show of the year? Really doesn't make any sense.

Let's hope this Orton/McMahon garbage is over and we can get back to the Royal Rumble winner going at it with Cena. I'm going to assume we're having a 3 way (Cena, Edge and Orton) at Mania for the belt, unless Cena quickly wins it back.

There really wasn't anything great on this show except for the Chris Jericho and Roddy Piper segment. Jerry Lawler sold the beatdown on commentary like a champ and Piper had the crowd in the palm of his hands. Cannot wait to see how this whole Jericho vs. Legends feud ends.moreless

    • Rowdy Roddy Piper: You want the truth? I'm going to shoot with you on this one. Let me tell you something man, you know I have watched you your entire career and I liked you. I'll tell you why. You said what was on your mind and then you had the guts to come in the ring and back it up. I respected that, it reminded me of somebody I know. What happened? Now, you get on television and you're running your mouth. You're calling me out, you're calling Flair out, you're calling the other legends out. You used to be entertaining. What happened? You're judging us, you patronize us, you tell us what we should be and should not be doing. Let me take one of your quotes: Please, shut the Hell up!
Chris Jericho: Sure Piper, dance like a puppet on a string, make all these fans cheer for you.
Piper: I'm not finished yet! Mickey Rourke is my friend and I watched his movie The Wrestler and yes, I cried. The movie is not about a bunch of old timers that want another run. The movie is about the honor and respect we have for everyone. The movie is about the pain, physically and emotionally and most of all, and most important, why we do what we do, for the thrill of performing. Ric Flair was right. We live for this. I have people that come up to me and they say to me: Hey Roddy, we remember when you slapped Mr. T. And I have people that come up to me and say: When my granddad was alive we watched you, we watched you shave Adrian Adonis' head. And Chris, you want to bury these moment. No, these moments are to be celebrated. Last year I was in the Royal Rumble, and when I came out in Madison Square Garden, 24,000 people jumped to their feet and just for one second Chris, I felt like I was back in the first Wrestlemania. That was the thrill of a lifetime for me. I have one hip, and I hurt all the time. But as long as these folks here say so, I will crawl down here on my hands and knees to give them one more memorable moment because old school's cool.

    • Edge: You see, after I lost my WWE Championship in the first Elimination Chamber, I could have packed it up, I could have done home. I could have cried, I could have looked for sympathy. But that's something all of you would have done. You're all like big fat failure turtles, you would have curled up in your shells of self-pity and disappointment! But that's not me. For me, failure is not an option.

    • John Cena: Edge, the Rated R Superstar. And you heard your champion earlier, I mean the 'R' it does stand for so very many things. Remarkable, really really lucky, right place right time. This one's my favourite, guys, rematch!

    • John Cena: (to Edge) Go back to Smackdown, tell Festus and Funaki I said "hello" and (to Edge and Vickie) you do whatever it is you guys do together. I actually just had some thoughts, I threw up in my mouth a little bit.

    • Shawn Michaels: Last night, I had an epiphany too. I can't spell it, but I had an epiphany too.

    • Jerry Lawler: I finally figured out what divas want in relationship: security. Every time I approach one of them backstage that's what they yell.
