WWE Raw presented yet another three hour installment. The voting and stipulations were expectedly lame, but was unexpected was the ending. The entire season 1 cast of NXT ambushed the wrestlers, the commentators, staff at ringside and the ringside area itself. It was shocking and while a bit poorly choreographed at times, it definitely was a breath of fresh air from how Raw usually ends.

But will this translate to more viewers for the troubled Syfy series as it kicks off its second season tomorrow night? And did it excuse a dance competition on a professional wrestling show? I'm going to say no and no.moreless
  • The rise of the Nexus.

This was a pathetic episode. I give credit for the CM Punk vs. John Cena match, the Sheamus vs. Kane match, and the beginning of the Nexus group. The A-team thing was super lame.

The dance off was super lame.

the Tag match between the Hart Dynasty and Khali and Hornswogle was terrible.

Matt Hardy vs. Drew Mcyntire was decent. It was probably better than most of their past matches. Edge vs. Orton was silly and did not really entertain me.

So overall this was a below average episode of Raw. It may have been titled a "viewers choice" but it sure wasn't my choices.moreless
