  • All titles are on the line in Night of Champions.

Not a bad Ppv, not bad at all. Actually well done.

Night of Champions was a memorable ppv for a couple of reasons namely the crowning of a New Wwe Champion, New Wwe Tag Team Champion, and Kane retaining over Undertaker. Dolph Ziggler (c) vs Kofi Kingston for Ic title:

Good match overall. Dolph gets the surprise win. Surprising given the fact that Kofi has been building up heat. United States Championship match The Miz (c) vs Daniel Bryan for Us Title:

    Hard fought technical match

Miz then gets control going to work on Bryan's left shoulder. Miz tries a submission then Bryan fights back but gets a boot to the face. Bryan makes a dramatic comeback after Miz has injured his shoulder. Bryan gives his submission for the win. Well worked match, Bryan Danielson deserves this. Women's and Diva's Championship Unification LumberJill Match: Michelle McCool (c) vs Melina (c)

Not bad for a Diva's match. Michelle gets the win following Layla's interference. CM Punk vs Big Show:

Ok this was a dud plus the feud has ran out of steam. Plus what are they doing with Cm Punk are they demoting him now? He's jobbing to Big Show, and the Straight Edge Society is no longer in top form. Given Cm Punk's big win over Christian on Smackdown, the booking for this match was odd.

    World Heavyweight Championship

    No Holds Barred Rules apply:

    Kane (c) vs The Undertaker:

Undertaker vs. Kane -Wild match as expected with it

being No Holds Barred. Undertaker jumps Kane early and throws him to the pillars, then Kane throws him to steel steps.

Mark sold everything from steel steps to Title belt then getting thrown on announcing table. Undertaker then takes his shots in on Kane.

For a couple of guys nearing retirement, Glen and Mark put a hell out of a match here. Kane retains.

    Tag Team Turmoil

    WWE Tag Team Championship

The Hart Dynasty vs The Uso vs Santino/Kozlov vs Drew McIntyre/Cody Rhodes vs Mark Henry and Evan Bourne

Decent tag match. Harts have held the title since May, but have only sporadically defended it. Given Smackdown's problems, it was smart to have Cody and Drew win it. Hopefully this help Smackdown.

    Elimination Rules apply

Sheamus (c) vs John Cena vs Randy Orton vs Edge vs Wade Barrett vs Chris Jericho

Well executed. A lot of great twists, near falls, and hard shots. All the guys performed well including newcomer Wade Barret in his first Ppv.

Chris Jericho is the first one guy while Edge and Sheamus surprisingly form a tag team to spread this match out. Later John Cena is beaten by Wade Barrett following Nexus's interference (will surely be brought up on Raw).

The only one left is the favorite which is Randy Orton. Randy does get an assist from Cena in clearing out the Nexus. Randy Orton eventually wins the title again.

Overall this match was a great match and did live up the hype. The Ppv was more than decent.moreless

WWE had a PPV here tonight? Who knew?

Night of Champions was a night of busts. Don't even get me started on the women's match, that was beyond a train wreck.

Kofi Kingston and Dolph Ziggler usually have good matches, but they did not have a good one tonight. They just did not click. Why have The Miz vs. Bryan Danielson after just having it on Raw. The match was not terrible, but Miz is such a bad worker that it was not even really average by WWE PPV standards.

The main event was just a total bust as well. Maybe Orton can save the company.moreless
