  • Summerslam

This was a very memorable WWE Summerslam. You can tell that you are witnessing a special event when the crowd starts the match in support of The Rock, but by the end they are hoping for Brock Lesnar to win. And Lesnar did win. The Rock really gave the young up and comer a huge rub here and we now know of course what a mainstream icon Lesnar has become in both wrestling and MMA.

I also remember this event for The Undertaker accidentally holding the American flag upside down after the match, in a comedic moment.

Kurt Angle and Rey Mysterio had a solid match to kick off the show. I miss the days of Angle being a good wrestler.
