    7.3
    Kane vs. Finlay

Just an okay match, but a weird choice as the opener. Nothing special except for an enzigiri from Kane, which was odd because he had 'injured' ribs that match.

    Winner: Kane

    Match Rating: 6/10

Triple Threat Match for the Intercontinental Championship

Umaga vs. Carlito vs. Mr. Kennedy

Pretty decent matchup. Kennedy and Carlito did pretty well, but Umaga brought them down here. It was pretty good until the lame ending, with Umaga retaining.

Winner & Still IC Champion: Umaga

    Match Rating: 6.5/10

    Rey Mysterio vs. Chavo Guerrero

This was a different match from these two. It involved a lot more mat based wrestling than usual, but it really worked out well. One of Chavo's better matches as well. Nice return match for Rey, and one of the better matches on the card.

    Winner: Rey Mysterio

    Match Rating: 7.5/10

    ECW World Championship

    John Morrison vs. CM Punk

I don't know why, but I really like the matches these two put on. They are really crisp in the ring together, and their styles complimented eachother. My only complaint is the botched ending, but other than that a solid match

Winner & Still ECW Champion: John Morrison

    Match Rating: 7.5/10

    World Heavyweight Championship

    Great Khali vs. Batista

Just a terrible, boring match. Waste of my time

Winner by DQ: Batista and Still Champ: Khali

    Match Rating: 1/10

    Triple H vs. Booker T

Another return match, and it is another very good match as well. It was pretty short, at under 8 minutes, but the action was solid, and the ending was satisfying. (This was before the World Title Match)

    Winner: Triple H

    Match Rating: 7/10

    WWE Championship

    John Cena vs. Randy Orton

The first few minutes was pretty boring, with plenty of headlocks. But the match completely turned around, with a ton of near falls, and intense moments that make a main event special. I was let down by the ending, but the match was very good. Winner & Still WWE Champion: John Cena

    Match Rating: 7.5/10

Summerslam was a very good event. There was one bad match, four great matches, and the rest solid. I wasn't let down by either return matches, and the main event was great. So this dvd is worth the buymoreless

  • Summer Slam biggest party of the Summer!!!

    8.0
The theme for Summerslam was the biggest party of the summer it kinda lived up to that, but it also could of been described as the night of retaining champion part 56700. Just Joking Summerslam was pretty good. There were a couple decent matches like Carlito vs kennedy vs Umaga for the intercontinental title. This match was Ok but I was kinda looking foward to Kennedy becoming Champion. The return of Rey Mysterio was pretty exciting not as exciting as the game but pretty exciting. His match with Chavo could of easily tied for match of the night. We saw good crusiweigh action making note that if WWE wanted to have a good crusiweight division they could do it. John Morrison vs CM Punk let me down big time. I expected a good match but it was just like there match at the Great American Bash anything but spectacular. The return of the game was one of the highlights of the night despite his 10 minute long entrance and 15minute long victory celebration and 5 min match. His match was exactly what I thought it would be a SQUASH!. The diva battle Royal was garbage. kane vs Finlay was ok. John Cena vs Randy Orton ties for match of the night with Chavo and mysterio. Orton in my opinion carried Cena through a very good and decent main event, the biggest let down came when Cena retained the title. All in All Summerslam was good but I wanted to see at least one new champion(Orton cough cough) Overall I give it a 8/10moreless
  • Here is my Review for this months ppv, it was decent but nothing that would make me get too excited about. There were a couple upsets. Hopefully WWE next PPV is a little better then this one.It should be with the return of taker which I can't wait for.moreless

Hello, Here is my review of the Summer's biggest party or what ever its called. Match By Match.

WWE Champion John Cena vs. Randy Orton

Cena won but i'm not really that surprised, WWE is set on keeping in champ so he can be the longest reigning champ of all time it seems. Decent match though

Triple H vs. King Booker HHH wins it here, no real surprise other then Booker got more moves in then I expected him too. The match it self wasnt that great but it was just there for HHH to make his comeback(How many has he had by now?)

World Heavyweight Champion The Great Khali vs. Batista Batista win by Dq, so Khali is still champ, Thank god I just don't like batista as champ, but he'll prob get a re-match at unforgiven and then possibly win it there. Which I honestly think there is much better talent on the roster AKA MVP, Kane and countless others.

    Rey Mysterio vs. Chavo Guerrero

REy wins here, which again wasn't a shock as he was returning. My thought are it was match of the night, but what was up with painting himself?

ECW Champion John Morrison vs. CM Punk Morrison wins which was a shock to me as I thought punk had a chance. I honestly think Punk will never get the belt at this point which is dumb.

Umaga vs. Carlito vs. Mr. Kennedy Umaga retains in a decent match I didn't really care who won this match as I like all three of them. Pretty good match. I hope carlito gets a title soon he deserves it.

Divas Battle Royal Women's Championship #1 Contendership Mickie James vs. Beth Phoenix vs. Jillian Hall vs. Melina vs. Maria vs. Krystal Marshall vs. Torrie Wilson vs. Victoria vs. Michelle McCool vs. Cherry vs. Kelly Kelly vs. Brooke Adams vs. Layla El well Beth won this won, it was your basic WWE womens match nothing more nothing less.

Kane vs Finlay Kane pulled of the win, I though the match was better then I expected it to be.

Now was the PPV worth $40?? Nope, as I thought it was worth $25-30. It had some pretty decent backstage bits with Cryme Tyme but then again I could still be up and can't sleep because the image of Mae Young Making out with Vince Mcmahon has burned into my brain. I Gave it an 8 out of ten. So if I was you i'd wait till the DVD comes out to get the eventmoreless
