  • this was billed as the biggest and baddest wrestlemania at the time and it sure as hell! lived up to the hype and not just because of hogan vs andre oh no! this was quality throughoutmoreless

    9.0
andre and hogan may not go down as a techincal classic but this match up will be remembered years down the line and so will wrestlemania 3!.words cannot begin to describe the kind of match ricky steamboat and randy savage, not many people talk about this match when they think about wrestlemania 3 but this match really set the standard for wrestlemania and the intercontinental championship in what can only be described as an all out classic!.the full nelson challenge between hercules and billy jack haynes because of three reasons.bobby heenan was there and it looked believeable, honestly if you knew wrestling wasnt fake or did not have internet how would you feel about this challenge?the midget match was laughable at best and achieved what is set out to do.the tension between harley race and junkyard dog in their loser must bow match was phenomenal.jyd bowed after he lost the match (true class) then attacked harley race with a steel chair and stole his kings robe(even classier).now on to piper's "retirement match" vs adonis, thanks to the assitance of brutus beefcake piper got the win and adonis got his hair shaved!(another forotten classic).any match the hart foundation is in is a good match so this need not be discussed let's skip the koko b. ware crapfest(only crap on the card) and if youve never seen the iron sheik in action then buy wrestlemania 3 to see one of his best matches!.wrestlemania one of the best ppvs evermoreless

    • While the amount of fans has been announced as 93,173, some controversy states that the attendance was more in the 78,000 range. However, this has never been officially proven.

    • I found one big goof on Wrestlemania III, at the ppv everyone acted like the Hogan VS Andre match was the first time they fought (Televised), when many years eariler back when Vince Sr. own the WWWF Hulk and Andre fought two times on August 9, 1980, and September 22, 1980 and Andre won both times. I thought I should just point that out.
