  • One of the all-time best WrestleMania events of all time.

    10
For the first time ever, WrestleMania was being held in Canada from within the beautiful facility called the Toronto SkyDome. To top it all off, it was noted to have the largest attendance record for the arena they were in: 67, 678. That record would remain untouched until the WWE returned to the same arena 12 years later.

What made this WrestleMania so special to me was the main event of the evening: World Wrestling Federation champion Hulk Hogan went one-on-one against World Wrestling Federation Intercontinental champion The Ultimate Warrior in what was dubbed as "The Ultimate Challenge" and both titles were on the line. The fan reaction was great and the match was superb by both men. I grew up watching the two of them, so this was a treat.

In the end, The Ultimate Warrior became a double champion and Hogan "handed the torch" to him after the match was over. A great WrestleMania.....and the WWE was not done from there.moreless
