  • Number one contenders match for World Title

Another great Smackdown show. You know the E has put many great shows this year as well as Ppv's. They have for the most part of this year getting better.

This was a straight up wrestling show with no comedy and lame comedy bits and no girls picking lockboxes.

Match #1: John Morrison vs Jack Swagger

Decent opening. Morrison echoes what everyone thinks of Swagger while he earned the Money in the Bank shot, he didn't earn his win over Jericho.

Swagger couldn't beat Orton, but he goes over Morrison, but a strong showing by both.

Match #2: Matt Hardy vs Drew McIntyre

Another great match Drew has to use the steel post to get Hardy. I'd actually like to see the guy start defending the IC title. He's the champ, he should start acting like one.

Match #3: Hart Dynasty vs Barreta & Croft

Another decent match. Hart's go over. Hart's are getting their push.

    Shad Gaspard promo

Shad's promo was decent. He gives the promo of the guy that just screwed over his partner very well.

Match #4: Edge vs Chris Jericho

Long match, and a great one. Great way to close off the show. The E usually gives the audiences great Main Events to close of the show.

Great match, don't mind the finish because it shows me that the E isn't going to end this classic feud just yet. It'll probably be a Triple Threat match at Extreme Rules. Swagger has his work cut out for him.moreless
  • Extreme Set Up

It is good to see Trent Baretta getting a chance to be on Smackdown. I use to see him as Plazma on the local indy circuit and it's nice to see him getting a shot here. He still has to do some work, but he is learning the WWE style.

The Chris Jericho vs. Edge main event was okay, but these in the crowd brawls and DQ finishes need to stop. Jack Swagger vs. John Morrison was a decent way to open the show as well.

After ragging on Smackdown for a few weeks, they finally gave us a good show tonight.moreless
