  • X-Men series, the reboot. Or should I say, how Marvel screwed it up.

I'm a big fan of the X-Men. I've watched the original series many times. But this reboot.... well it looks very good. But that's about it. I've managed to watch 1 3/4 episodes before my IQ dropped to unacceptable levels. Seriously. The voice acting is sub par, but not because of the actors. The text they are given is simply horrible. Granted, it may be aimed at a young audience, but I'd still expect something good. For example, in a conversation with a couple, the group is told that other mutants dissapeared also. About a minute later, the phone rings and the lady of the house comes back to say that some other mutant dissapeared. And cyclops gasps!! Why bloddy hell why? He already knows yet reacts like it's his first time hearing it. Like it's some horrible suprise. And it's not just that scene. It happens way too often. Maybe it's just me, but that and the horrible text seriously screws it up for me.moreless

Weird, no one has discussed X-Men yet.
