    Hank McCoy doubles as both gym and science teacher. And he's the most popular instructor at Bayville High. That's about all I appreciated from this ep, which isn't bad, at all, just a little boring in re-telling the story of how the Beast came to join the X-Men. Most of it is your usual, Jekyl/Hyde, monster movie stuff, as Hank tries to control the beast within that's dying to get out. Yawn. Seen this a million times. There was alot going on in this episode, with Kitty buying a dumb hat to ace a test and Spyke being unreliable to the rest of the team. So stuffed with other things going on, that no one sub-plot gets the development or attention it deserves.moreless

    this is when shown mr.mccoy the coolest n simply the best havin some problems. he got rid of it for 3 years by using some checical solution but now.. its gettin bad!! Worse! this is when mr mcCoy finds himself in the middle of man-kind and mitant-kind. though with the checical formula till now he has hidden the beast inside but this is the time for some RAGEOUT! now mcCoy n' bayville high havin trouble wid em and his new characterstics....now it is time to find the truth about BEAST.! who is he n wut might he do...will he b restricated or team up? the choice is McCoy's....!

    IT was totally cool when spike finds somethin bout his chemestry teacher (the coolest teacher in bayville high)..its bad ..its comming!!moreless

    Great episode. Hank McCoy becomes the Beast and after a "little" fight with the X-Men, he moves to the Xavier Institute and becomes a different kind of teacher.
    Be sure not to miss the scene where Spyke calms the Beast down reciting Shakespeare. It's awesome.
    Also very interesting is the fact that Hank and Xavier already knew each other. Hank tried to hide his mutant form with a secret formula he made. But when he the serum doesn't work anymore, he must accept what he is: a mutant.moreless
