  • Day of Recovery is X-Men Evolution at its full potential!

    9.5
Finally, the people behind this series give us X-Men as we know them, as it should be, and when it works, it works perfectly. The season premiere is mostly fallout from the extraordinary events that took place in the season 2 finale. The team has to continue working with the brotherhood in hopes of finding Professor X. They are uncomfortable bedfellows, but I love Scott's move at the end to back stab Mystique until he gets some answers.

Now the show is at full potential, the mutants are revealed, the kids are hunted and facing the greatest adversity of their young lives. Exciting!moreless
  • The X-Men are reunited again.

    9.8
The X-Men must team-up once again with the Brotherhood in order to save the mutants that the Sentinel kidnapped. Mystique takes control of the team, even if Storm disagrees. However, the X-Men must do what Mystique says or else they will never find out what happened to the Professor. With a little help from S.H.I.E.L.D. agent Nick Fury, the X-Men discover that the missing members of their team have been taken to Area 51 and decide to leave immediately to rescue them.

Meanwhile, inside the Area 51 military base, the captive mutants escape, mainly thanks to Wolverine. The other X-Men arrive just in time to help the others exit the base, but Cyclops refuses to help Mystique get out and she is captured.

In the end, the X-Men, now left without a place to live, wonder about what will happen next.moreless
