Wow, you like Soul Posession that much?

I only liked the present day parts with Annie and Harry because they were funny. The Season 3 flashback scene made NO sense whatsoever with Sacrafice and A Family Affair. I also thought it was unneccesary to try to explain events that happened 2 seasons ago, or even at all.

I didnt like Ares in this one either, lol This is the only episode with Ares that I actually dont like. He was a little out-of-character, and the S3 flashback scenes required him to wear those awful extensions/wig lol

Yes, honestly, I've been bored with "Hercules" (except for the episodes Xena is in). Those are very interesting. I hope the show picks up..

There were those awful episodes on "Xena", but I believe all shows have them. You just need to start with one you like. Fallen Angel, Chakram, and Succession were great back-to-back episodes, IMO.

Likewise. Season 5 was off to a great start, and went downhill with Animal Attraction

It was cute but not my cup of tea (in regards to a show like Xena). Them Bones, Them Bones was eh...alright, but by Purity/Back in the bottle...?!?!?!?!?! Such a pityful sequel to The Debt. Especially considering thats like, probably my favorite episode. No plot twists, no suspense or any kind of climax whatsoever. Oh we need to find the Black powder. Have we found it yet? Nah, we havent. Wait, there's Ghengis Khan! The plot thickens! Oh wait, no we're still looking for the Black powder. Oh my gosh, a plot twist! Oh no...we're still doing the samething   Lao Ma's twin daughters brought absolutely nothing to the episodes or to the character Lao Ma (me myself, I prefer her not to have any other children) and while Ming Tien was good in The Debt, do we really need to see him again? I mean really. Why cant anyone in this show stay dead, lol The only saving grace in those episodes was Joxer, and that's just sad The comic relief should be an added bonus, not the best thing about the episode.

Its nice to know that I'm not the only one who finds H:TLJ is boring. Even the exceptional episodes arent anything I'd want to rewatch (with the exception of Xena and crossovers).

I know I know, everyone has their own taste, but I honestly cant see how someone could prefer Hercules over Xena (and I've met quite a few) where I can barely even stay awake, lol Critics often point at the cheese/camp factor in X:WP, but that is no where even close to the ludicrus crap I've seen Hercules. Did you know they turned him into a pig? Yup, Porkules (not joking. Thats the name of the episode). I understand Mr. Kevin Sorbo was not available for most of Season 4 (sick I think) but surely they could of come better than that? Those Hercules writers actually came to write for Xena during 5th season; cant say I'm surprised

I liked Animal Attraction because of the Gabrielle/horse scenes. I know... strange... but they were humorous. I hated Them Bones, Them Bones. And Back in the Bottle/Purity completely sucked. The effect with Ming Tien and the one daughter was awful. The only good thing about those episodes (everything else was horrible) was the short relationship between the guy and Gabrielle (which got nowhere). It was cute. And the final scene where the thousands of soldiers turned into stone. That was cool.

About Hercules - I finished Season 1 and went back to the movies (I know, out of order). I loved the movie (Lost Kingdom) with Renee O'Connor. But that's exactly why... because she was in it and so much fun to watch. Her character was a lot like Gabrielle. The other movies weren't that great.

Btw, why did they have the same name? Her and Hercules' wife. There was no connection. And what exactly happened at the end of Lost Kingdom? He flew across the world or something? I was ready to freak out if Hercules had kissed Renee's character. lol, how bizarre.

There was actually no connection. Not sure why they did that, lol Yeah, she was reminscent of Gabrielle but I kind of like that character better. I dont know, I find Gabrielle boring

    Re: The kiss scene

Is it just me, or did you feel embaressed when she kept on asking "...how about now?" And Hercules kept on replying no LOL. I dont know, I guess I was expecting after the second try or so he'd give in, but they just kept on going back and forth. "How about now?" -- "No..." LOL.

P.S. Did you recognize "Salmoneus?" He was playing the slave man!

You didn't just say that! What about Season 1 Gabrielle? I just watched Athens City of Performing Bards and The Greater Good.

I know... no connection. How strange.

Yea, why did he say no? (again and again). Just because it isn't a sluty woman? I happen to think she's beautiful and they were good friends at that point. Why exactly did he refuse?

I did recognize Salmoneus *proud of self* lol

Season 1 Gabrielle is cool because she was chatty and funny, but after that she was kind of just dull.

I have no idea. Hercules didnt fall in love until he met his future wife of the same name (go figure) S P O I L E R : A L E R T and once she died, he never really could go out and be with other women. Or so he says, he was chummy chummy with Nemesis if you ask me, lol He eventually remarried with Serena, and of course she dies like two episodes later...lol I do think it was noble of him to visit his deceased wife and children before he remarried though. When you get up to Season 3 you'll see what I'm talking about
