Bird of Paradise

Episode Summary

The monks are now Wudai warriors, and they are going on their first Wudai quest. They received an omen from the singing old lady that the Bird of Paradise is coming. Their quest is to find the Bird of Paradise using a mystical leaf and using no Shen-Gong-Wu, they must search for the bird in Chase Young's domain. Using their new Wudai powers they've overcome obstacles that Chase Young has put in their way. When the warriors found the bird, they met with Chase and had a battle. At the end of the battle Jack appeared and took the bird. For our warriors, they were sad. Chase and Wuya left. And the same singing old lady comes back... What is the lady going to say to our warriors?moreless

And so the surprise is that the bird of paradise is the old lady. My favorite part of this episode is when the xiaolin warriors find the bird of paradise.moreless

    i love this episode. this episode is an episode that isnt dedicated to anyone person. and i like a little of everyone in episodes they all have their moments in this epsode which is great. its fuuny watching them continously run into this random old lady who the end turns out to be the bird of paradise lol nice twist i think. we also get a fare amount of jack in this episode to. he he he i love it when clay thinks the best gift is farm equipment. this episode is a good heart felt episode that many people will enjoymoreless

  • A Quest! That's new.

    This episode was one of the bests of Season 3. It showed off all of the Wudai Power. Too bad that Wudai Iron Palm was a one time thing, I liked it. The lady sing outside of the temple got to be a little... much. Dojo was funny in this episode as well. I though ti was a little weird for Chase to be watching through the clouds using an... eyeball? Yeah, a little weird with that one.

    Too bad no Shen-Gong-Wu are seen, user or revealed in this episode.

    Jack was also very funny in this episode. He is still missing his other half that he left in the Ying-Yang World in the previous episode. Wuya has become less of a threat and more of a comedy character. Jack's parrot is funny in the end, that is so like Jack!moreless

    I have a top ten favorite Xiaolin Showdown episode list, and this would probably be the third or fourth. The Bird of Paradise was the most graphically inspiring episode ever. I felt like I would just jump up and go crazy.
    I could consider this episode a mix of comedy, adventure, suspense, and action. The Bird in her old lady state was hilarious, and how she moved around looked really cracked me up.
    Nowhere? Somewhere? Neither Here nor There??? Hahaha...
    Omi's astoundment with a leaf...wow...he looks so cute with that smile ha.
    When Wuya's not the boss of everything, she's a total dork. Bathroom problems, kissing up, and using slang? Whoa...problematic.
    Wudai Neptune, Mars, Star, and Crater are unbelieveably awesome, but the best was Wudai Orion, and how they cloaked themselves with some dark and elemental energy.
    I devoted this particular paragraph to say: "Wow, Jack is STUPID." Parrot = Bird of Paradise? I don't think so.
    It was amazing in the end how the magical illusions of Master Fung ended in paper cranes turning into mops and brooms. Amazing episode.moreless
