The gang travels to New York, where a new Shen-Gong-Wu, the Serpent's Tail has been revealed. Omi gets seperated from the group and is soon lost in the big city. Jermaine, a boy that lives there, befriends Omi and tries to help him find the Serpent's Tail. Jack and Wuya soon arrive, along with the Xiaolin Warriors, who just happen to both catch the Serpent's Tail at the same time, creating a Xiaolin Showdown involving a basketball game.moreless
I don't understand why more people didn't like this episode. I thought it was one of the best so far. Jermaine was awesome! Too bad he didn't want to go back to the temple with Omi so he could help them fight. He would have made a cool addition to the show. I loved the part where he realized that Omi wasn't crazy, and the Shen Gong Wu stuff he was blathering about was real XD It was hilarious XD Jack and Wuya are becoming more violent! He made an attempt on Dojo's life with the train, and then tried to vaporize Omi and Jermaine. He never actually set out to kill them before now...moreless
Omi had many good lines in this episode, like when he was misunderstanding or trying to use slang (that was uniquely New York - he screws up slang in many other situations). One of my favorite quotes was when the binocular device snapped shut as the time ran out and Omi's like "AAAA! I'm blinded!" and Kimiko puts in another quarter.
ok definatly not the best episode but a good one none the less.....ok ok ok really i would watch this whole episode for one moment. i think it is the funniest thing when the rest of the xiaolin warriors are reunited with omi and rai picks him up and s like where have you been dont ever do that agian i was so worrierd. that was so funny i just love it. also they get the serpents tail in this episode. it is so cute when omi dresses up as some what of a gangster. also i love during the showdwon when wuyas like defence defence thats great.moreless

Another Omi episode, it is too much! Now there is a new friend too- Jermaine. He is cool, but I feel he would have gotten along better with Raimundo or Kimiko, or even Clay and Dojo. Still, a very miraculous friendship happens between Omi and Jermaine, who work together to defeat the enemies, something like that. I wonder when will there be a Master Fung episode? I really respect him, of course, but it will be awesome if he can show his powers for a while. I would give that episode a ten. Quite fine, this episode, and I hope to see Jermaine again.moreless
Right before the commercial, the bullies are near Omi, and are getting ready to beat him up, but after the commercial, they are across the court walking towards him.
Edit
When Omi is jumping through the traffic while chasing after the Shen Gong Wu, a woman tells him to get off the hood of her car. This is odd because Omi was not even on her car yet.
Edit
Kimiko's outfit: A purple cap covering her dreads, black shirt with one side that shows off her shoulder while the other side has a short sleeve, a gold band around her arm, purple belt with a gold ring in the middle, olive greenish pants, purple and white sneakers and purple backpack.
