Cable intends to steal a government time machine in order to destroy Apocalypse's sleeping chamber in the past. However, he finds himself in the present time with the other X-Men. They all agree to pitch in along with Cable. When they reach to the pyramid, they encounter the four horsemen of Apocalypse pushing resistance. They are able to defeat them, but the entire thing was a trap to get Xavier! Now, Apocalypse has all the physics he desires in order to fulfill whatever he tends to do.
A cleverly plotted and brilliant episode. Everything that has happened in this episode was perfectly orchestrated by Apocalypse. Cable forcefully being sent to the present time in order to bring Xavier with him, and the capture of Xavier. Though what I'm not really liking about this arc is that it's not really rich in story. Sure it's interesting so far, and you want to find out what Apocalypse wants with all these physics, but it's not enough to grab your complete attention.
In addition, the fighting isn't exactly deep either like Dragonball Z, paying special attention to power dominance, attacks, and special abilities. However, this arc does all the small things right, and it's cleverly plotted too. Now with Xavier, you just can't wait to find out what Apocalypse has planned. And you can't help but think what role Bishop plays in all of this.
