The red-diamond on Mr Sinister's chest turns blue for a frame or two.

Xavier's shirt, after being shot in the shoulder, is repaired by the end of the episode. Odd that he had a spare top, but none of his trademark suits.

Xavier's hands appear gloveless in one shot, then his gloves (which are brown) are miscolored as green in another.

Jean Grey, wearing her civilian clothes throughout both of these episodes, appears in her costume briefly when the team regains their powers.

This episode features the first appearances of Ka-Zar and his pet sabretoothed tiger Zabu, and Savage Land mutates Brainchild & Lupo.

Ka-Zar and his pet saber-toothed tiger Zabu lead a group of triceratops towards the band of savage mutants, Xavier, and Magneto. When they are heard stampeding, Barbarus proclaims, "it sounds like thunder." Vertigo remarks, "but I see no clouds" even though clouds are clearly visible in the background.

The color of the water-based dinosaur changes in the close-up shot with Ka-Zar from grey to orange.

Gambit only appears through old footage that Mojo watches, and has no lines. Jubilee also briefly appears with no lines.

Jubilee can be seen trapped with Wolverine, Rogue, Jean Grey and Beast. Even though she was not part of the group that got teleported to Mojo's world. She also disappears later, and then does not appear for the remainder of the episode.

This episode features the first appearances of Mojo, Spiral, and Longshot (who'll all next appear in season 5's "Longshot"), and Shanna the She-Devil & Sauron.

The women putting makeup on Longshot are Dazzler (who'll get darker hair when she makes her first true appearance in next season's "The Dark Phoenix (1): Dazzled") and what appears to be Ricochet Rita (whose alternate universe self is Spiral).

The creatures who hatch on board the "Rogue Star" appear closer to the comic version of the Brood, who will later make their first appearance in season 4's "Love In Vain" (after much censor-alterations.)

In Longshot's opening credits sequence, N'Garai demons, Psylocke, and the Super-Adaptoid make cameos.

The robots which become the simulated heroes in "I Dream Of Jean" resemble modified versions of the Marvel hero War Machine. The forms they take on are of Marvel Comics anti-hero The Punisher, and Shi'ar Imperial Guard members Quake, Gladiator and Tempest.

Among the endless array of aliens in Mojo's television arena, are a Skrull, Mad Thinker's Awesome Android, and a white-suited Jack Kirby.
