Greg: I had given up on me and my wife having any kind of equal partnership at home, but thanks to your scheming and manipulation, you have completely restored my faith in marriage.
Christine: That is so beautiful!
Christine: Number one: talk Jimmy into getting a pedicure.
Greg: Gross!
Christine: I know. Sometimes when we spoon, it's more like a fork.
Jimmy: How come your mom taught you how to cook and not Christine?
Kim: She did, till Christine outgrew her EasyBake oven. Then she was just easy—and quite often baked.
Series star Mike O'Malley makes his directorial debut with this episode, joining Liza Snyder, who directed the earlier "Jimmy the Teacher," in becoming a first-time director this season.
When Greg asked Christine, "what's the deal with all the pillows?!," she replies, "take it easy, Seinfeld." Jerry Seinfeld's stand-up comedy is peppered with lots of "what's the deal with", observation-style humor.
Greg tells Christine, "Good luck sleeping with Edward Scissorsfeet," a reference to the 1990 Johnny Depp movie, Edward Scissorhands.
