Jimmy says that Logan is growing so fast it seems like every couple of months he's a completely different kid. This is of course a reference to the number of actors playing Logan.
This and "Nitpicking" were the two episodes submitted for Emmy consideration in this season. Season 3 was also the only one that 20th Century Fox actually bothered to print up Emmy screeners.
Ironically, Jean Louisa Kelly had just become pregnant in real life when this was shot.
A Baby Story segments were shot without a studio audience.
Kristine Wallace previously played a nurse in last season's "You're Out... of Dreams." David Ringwald previously appeared in the first season's "Mr. Fix It," albeit as a different character.
Brendon Baerg becomes the fourth actor to portray Logan Hughes.
The episode gives a special thanks to TLC's A Baby Story. It uses the text, graphics and music from the real show. It also uses real childhood photos of the lead actors.
