Attack of the Vidiots / Fit to be Tried
AIRED:
Attack of the Vidiots: While Yin is busy following Master Yo's lessons, Yang is busy goofing off on video games! Master Yo believes the only way Yang can learn why video game playing is only good in moderation is if he learns it for himself. Unfortunately, this brings the Lesson back into play as he is determined that Yang finds out the hard way how bad too much video game playing is! But with Yang being Yang, will the Lesson's efforts work, or just backfire on him? Fit to be Tried: Carl decides that in order to beat the Woo Foo Warriors, he needs to frame Yin & Yang for abusing their Woo Foo powers! Now Yin and Yang are on trial, and with the jury and the witnesses stacked with evil beings, can Yin and Yang prove they were set up and get to keep their Woo Foo powers?moreless

I hope the guys who make this show are paying attention to me as with my predictions of this show coming true right & left, I'm setting records for most predictions come true since Nostradamus way back during the Renaissance! This week, it was my prediction of Yang getting sucked into a video game which means I'm one step closer to the "Tron" based episode that I've envisioned in my episode ideas whoo whoo! :D I'm getting so good at this! This episode proves that there's a Very thin line between trying to teach some-one a moral and needing to be taught a moral oneself as the Lesson finds out: the hard way! And Carl is so pathetic as a villain he has to get beat up by the Woo Foo Warriors & claim they were abusing their powers in order to even have One of his plans even remotely almost succeeding! But as usual, Carl can't keep his big stupid mouth shut and that's what ultimately defeats him! This funny action-packed show is what Beck would say as "Where It's At!" And Beck would not be incorrect in his statement! I've gotten to be as big a fan as I am by consistently posting accurately correct information! That's why I'm such a great reviewer! Enough said, true believers! ;)moreless

  • TRIVIA (3)

    • Some of the flashback scenes involving Herman's ants were from Shadows and Light, but the events from that episode haven't occured yet.

    • Look Closely: When they are showing the video footage of Yang playing video games, you can see the Lie Fairy using her punches on Yang from "The Truth hurts". How can they had a footage of that when it didn't happen yet.

    • New Move Debut: Woo Foo Racket is a move used by Yin which is blue energy shaped like a tennis racket in order to bounce projectile weapons elsewhere.

  • QUOTES (8)

    • Yang: Oh, no, I was wrong! They're going to use an electric couch! We're gonna be... execushioned!

    • Yin: They'll never be able to convict us against a jury of our peers.
Herman's Soldiers: (smiling) Hi kids, remember us?
(A short montage of scenes showing Yin and Yang abusing the ants by stomping, burning with a magnifying glass, etc)
Jury: (still smiling) Because we remember you!
Yang: Two words: electric and chair.

    • Yang: (when a bunch of police cars show up around the dojo) I'm beginning to think this was a set up.
(Cut scene to Yin, Yang, and Yo in a court room)
Yin: (mocking Yang) I'm beginning this was a set-up. Blah, blah, blah, blah. (shrilly) See what happens when you think?!

    • Justice Orb: (to Master Yo, re. Carl) If I declare a mistrial, WILL YOU CRACK HIM IN HALF?!?!
Master Yo: (placing hands together and bowing) All hail the Justice Orb. (grins and cracks knuckles)

    • Carl: I will be your judge, jury, executioner, executioner, and executioner!
Yin: Uh...you said "executioner" three times.
Carl: Well, there's three of you.
(Chung Pow Kitty gives a rimshot)

    • Yang: So does this mean we're free to use might and magic again?
      Stenogrosaurus: (nodding) Raarrrhh!
Yang: Good... because I think we destroyed the courthouse.
(Cut to Yin, Yang, and Yo in a jail cell)
Yin: (mocking Yang) "I think we destroyed the courthouse." (in same rhythm) Ah nyeh nyeh nyehnyeh nyeh nyehnyeh. (shrilly) SEE WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU THINK?!!

    • Carl's Mom: (suddenly appearing in court) What am I doing here? I was busy loofahing some of my hard-to-reach places.
Prosecution, Defense, and All Witnesses: OBJECTION!!!
Justice Orb: Sustained!! (to the Stenogrosaurus) Strike that from the record...and HURRY!!!

    • Master Yo: Could you please state your name?
Carl: Carl the evil cockroach wizard!
      Master Yo: Again.
Carl: Carl the evil cockroach wizard!
      Master Yo: Again!
Carl: Carl the evil cockroach wizard!
Master Yo: (to the Stenogrosaurus) Could you repeat every third word?
Stenogrosaurus: Sure. Evil, evil, evil. Oops, I mean, RAAARR!!!

  • NOTES (1)

  • ALLUSIONS (4)

    • Space Invaders: This historic landmark game originally released in 1977 was referenced by Yang when he said that he had to defeat the evil-headed Space Invaders in his video game.

    • Quake 3: One of the games that Yang plays where a woman holds a gun and screams "Smackdown!" is a reference to this popular game.

    • Carl: I will be your judge, jury, executioner, executioner, and executioner!
This might be a reference to an episode of the Nicktoon "Danny Phantom", where Walker, the ghost prison warden tells Danny that he will be his judge, executioner, jury, executioner, jailer, and if neccesary his executioner.

    • Video Game Princess: Thank you but the real princess is in another castle!
This is a reference to the classic 1985 video game Super Mario Bros. originally released for the N.E.S. where in the game, after getting through the first seven castles in the game a message would appear saying to the player that the princess was in another castle.
