Master Yo has spent so much time in the refrigerator that it has absorbed a great amount of his Woo Foo energy, enabling him to communicate through it from wherever he is currently located.
New Move Debut: Yin's Woo Foo Aura Drain is a move Yin uses while in Woo Foo Aura form with Yang to drain the Aura (or power) of an object and gain the power that was in that object.
It's revealed in this episode that even if somebody can't make an Aura on their own, they can join Yin and Yang in their Woo Foo Aura, add their power to Yin and Yangs, and make the Woo Foo Aura look different in the process. This is also the first time this has been accomplished on-screen, by the Disco D.J. named Boogeyman.
Running gags in this episode: 1. Yin and Yang, as well as Mastermind, Zarnot, Fastidious, and Mr. Pondscum consistently argue amongst themselves. 2. An old guy wearing a Chinese hat always happens to be at a place the villains are destroying. 3. Said Chinese guy yelling loud even when Yin & Yang are right in front of him. 4. Nobody understands the lingo language Boogeyman is using. 5. Mastermind calling out the names of maneuvers Zarnot made up that insult him.
The name of the Disco D.J. is revealed to be Boogeyman, and he becomes the first addition to the Woo Foo Warrior Army being organized by Yin and Yang.
Mastermind: Defense pattern...
Zarnot: Say it, I named it for you!
Mastermind: Defense pattern "I'm a super-chump"!
President Muffins: And now, it is with great honor and pride, that I, your Town President dedicates the location of this new well, statistically proven to have a much lesser chance of people accidentally falling into it. (Lena screams as she is thrown into the well) Well, would you look at the time?! I'm off for lunch! (Everybody else leaves)
First episode of Yin Yang Yo to air exclusive over digital broadcasting.
When the Beaver kid and Puffin say that they were told there would be punch and pie at the Woo Foo army meeting, and leave when Yang says there is none, it is a homage to the first meeting of "La Resistance" from South Park: Bigger, Longer and Uncut.
When the muscle man that was talking to Carl is about to say I'll be back, it is a reference to a quote often said by Arnold Schwarzenegger.
