New Move Debut: Foobration is a move that Yin uses to transform her foobration charm into a giant tuning fork, and she smacks it on the ground to generate a powerful shockwave.
Running gags in this episode: 1. People keep getting the holiday name of Ha-Woo-Chris-Foo-Nah-Kah-Mas wrong! 2. Roger Jr. keeps getting hit by stuff by wearing a bulls-eye T-shirt. 3. Rainbow Mane keeps suggesting things to Yin that aren't helpful in the least. 4. Herman's ant army keeps demanding sugar. 5. Stuff keeps falling into a sewer where a hungry alligator eats whatever falls down into it.
Herman loses his entire ant army in this episode, and this is the first time that Carl has made his brother Herman lose a battle on purpose!
Both Coop's Mother and Eradicus have brief speaking appearances in this episode.
Zarnot: Prepare to taste my fury!
Yang: Taste your fury? As long as it's not bamboo-mango-cilantro flavored, bring it on!
Master Yo: As it says on the ancient Woo Foo fridge magnet.
Yin and Yang: Fridge magnet?
Master Yo: Scrolls are in the wash.
Roger Jr.: Yang! There's trouble at the old disco! (The music suddenly stops)
Yang: Seriously, if I wanted to hear dialouge like that, I'd work with a talking dog!
Yang: Okay Roger Jr., whatever you do, don't tell Yin we screwed up! (Rainbow Mane and Yin appear)
Yin: (nervously) So...how did you guys do?
Roger Jr.: We screwed up. (Yang slaps himself)
Yang: Thanks a lot!
Roger Jr.: You're welcome.
Final episode of Yin Yang Yo to premiere on Toon Disney.
Godzilla: The Monster in Master Yo's flashback looks like the famous Japanese monster.
Roger Jr.: Yang! There's trouble at the old disco!
This is an allusion to the name of a rock band, Panic at the Disco.
How the Grinch Stole Christmas: When Master Yo, Zarnot, and Yang talk in rhyme in various parts of the episode, they speak in a matter very similar to Dr. Suess' well-known story structure from his literary masterpiece and the 1964 animated special produced and directed by legendary animation director Chuck Jones.
Zarnot: I'll see you on the 5th of Foo-ly! The 5th of Foo-ly is a parody of the American holiday of Independence Day, or the 4th of July.
