Splitting Hares: Yang thinks Yin wants to take a break from fighting, and Yin thinks Yang wants to take a break from fighting. So in an act of niceness, they each decide to temporarily team up with another partner (Yin with a Two-ni-corn, and Yang with Roger Jr.) in order to stop Herman's ants from doing whatever it is they're doing. • Zarnot kicks it up a notch, and Carl finally gets to be better then Herman for once! :D

After many months of waiting, this episode has finally debuted on American shores, and it was totally worth the wait! In "Season's Beatings," Zarnot comes up with a plan that can actually work for once if the Woo Foo Warriors aren't careful! He manages to recruit a bunch of robot allies into fighting along his side, and it was powered up by frustrated parents! Fortunately for the Warriors, Zarnot fails miserably like always, and the Warriors win again! In "Splitting Hares," Yin and Yang each want to give the other a rest when they think the other is tired, so they each temporarily team up with an alternate partner in order to be nice. Yang joins up with Roger Jr. and Yin joins up with a Two-ni-corn named Rainbow Mane. But Roger Jr. is completely ineffectual at being smart like Yin is, and Rainbow Mane just talks non-stop and doesn't really help out Yin in the slightest. And with the Woo Foo Warriors not being at the top of their game, Herman and Carl are having an easy time gathering items which Carl claims will cure Herman of his Panda allergies. Yet when Yin and Yang realize that they need to work together just like before in order to prevail, they quickly turn the tables against Herman, and they not only beat him, they destroy his entire ant army to! The Woo Foo Warriors are victorious again! This cartoon series absolutely rocks, and I can't wait to see how it all turns out by the end of season 2! Enough said, true believers! ;)moreless

Trivia, Notes, Quotes and Allusions

  • TRIVIA (4)

    • New Move Debut: Foobration is a move that Yin uses to transform her foobration charm into a giant tuning fork, and she smacks it on the ground to generate a powerful shockwave.

    • Running gags in this episode: 1. People keep getting the holiday name of Ha-Woo-Chris-Foo-Nah-Kah-Mas wrong! 2. Roger Jr. keeps getting hit by stuff by wearing a bulls-eye T-shirt. 3. Rainbow Mane keeps suggesting things to Yin that aren't helpful in the least. 4. Herman's ant army keeps demanding sugar. 5. Stuff keeps falling into a sewer where a hungry alligator eats whatever falls down into it.

    • Herman loses his entire ant army in this episode, and this is the first time that Carl has made his brother Herman lose a battle on purpose!

    • Both Coop's Mother and Eradicus have brief speaking appearances in this episode.

  • QUOTES (4)

    • Zarnot: Prepare to taste my fury!
Yang: Taste your fury? As long as it's not bamboo-mango-cilantro flavored, bring it on!

    • Master Yo: As it says on the ancient Woo Foo fridge magnet.
      Yin and Yang: Fridge magnet?
Master Yo: Scrolls are in the wash.

    • Roger Jr.: Yang! There's trouble at the old disco! (The music suddenly stops)
Yang: Seriously, if I wanted to hear dialouge like that, I'd work with a talking dog!

    • Yang: Okay Roger Jr., whatever you do, don't tell Yin we screwed up! (Rainbow Mane and Yin appear)
Yin: (nervously) So...how did you guys do?
Roger Jr.: We screwed up. (Yang slaps himself)
      Yang: Thanks a lot!
      Roger Jr.: You're welcome.

  • NOTES (1)

    • Godzilla: The Monster in Master Yo's flashback looks like the famous Japanese monster.

    • Roger Jr.: Yang! There's trouble at the old disco!
This is an allusion to the name of a rock band, Panic at the Disco.

    • How the Grinch Stole Christmas: When Master Yo, Zarnot, and Yang talk in rhyme in various parts of the episode, they speak in a matter very similar to Dr. Suess' well-known story structure from his literary masterpiece and the 1964 animated special produced and directed by legendary animation director Chuck Jones.

    • Zarnot: I'll see you on the 5th of Foo-ly! The 5th of Foo-ly is a parody of the American holiday of Independence Day, or the 4th of July.
