When Yin and Yang plug their ears, they put their fingers on the sides of their heads instead of their actual ears, which are floating above their heads.
When the flunkies are trying to get into the old Night Master's lair, the number 13 is written on the wall next to the door. It could refer to the next time Fred is the main villain, the thirteenth episode of the season both airing wise and production wise.
Among the Night Masters before the one Yin and Yang defeated were Eradicus, the Griffin from Doomed To Repeat It, and an unnamed cobra woman.
Coop still possesses the evil energy the Night Master gave him, but he now has it under control.
It's learned in this episode that Coop's home looks like a giant egg and it has a swimming pool, indicating that Coop's family might have some substantial wealth.
New Move Debut, Yin: Yin-visibility allows Yin to turn herself (and at least Yang as well) invisible and even though she's known the move for longer than she's letting on, she claims that she's only learned it just now.
It is learned that there always has been a Night Master, and with the destruction of the one from season 1, a new one will soon rise.
It's learned in this episode that Coop's Mom has a grudge against Yin and Yang mostly because she thinks that whenever they're near him, bad things happen.
G.P. (Apparently now Saranoia's former gnome helper,) becomes much more powerful in this episode and insists on calling himself Fred which is an acronym for: "Frightening Really Powerful Enraged Dude," and Fred insists that the 'P' in his name is silent.
Yang: (to the evil Roger Jr.) Uh, dude, I don't know what crawled up your trunks, but we're gonna find out! In a way that's not as weird as it sounds.
Yang: And now, back by popular demand, the Foo-Nado!
(After Yang slashes away G.P, Flayviour, and Cho's clown disguise)
Yang: Henchmen? I should've known. No self-respecting clown would ever wear a costume that matches!
Flayviour: (crying) Why must you be so hurtful?!
Yang: Crying on the outside?! That does it!
(Yang charges at Fred as he attacks Yin)
Yang: Hey, Fr-ped, no manhandling the girl rabbit! (Fred smacks Yang away)
Fred: You know, if you're going to surprise someone, you should skip that whole 'Hey!' thing there!
Fred: This is great! Not only does Fred talk about himself in the 3rd person, he's also powerful enough to bend time, space, and warp reality! (shoots lasers)
Yang: Hey, Fred! You might be more powerful, but your aim still sucks!
Fred: (sarcastically) That's a great sword! There are new swords, they make them out of metal now?
Yin: (about Coop) I can't believe it! First he hounds me, than he betrays me, then he takes credit for saving the world, and we're still not invited to his party?!
Coop: Oh great, I'm hearing voices of girls who don't like me in my head again.
Yang: Yin, we're invisible, not inaudible, which is a word that I can't even believe that I know!
Night Master's door: If being a bad friend was all it took to get you in here, the pink one could open the door right now.
Yin: Okay, I get it!
The new opening theme animation shows a whole new crop of bad guys, with three more villains then season one's opening, and a whole lot meaner-looking.
The villains are: Bottom row, left to right: Fred, Smoke, Carl, Mirrors, Young Kraggler, and Badfoot. And Top row, left to right: The Chung Pow Kitties Aura, the Giant Robot of the Smorks, and Fastidious in his giant Hamster Mecha.
(Coop mumbles)
Yin: What's that? There's trouble?
Yang: Timmy's in the well?
This is a reference to the well-known Lassie T.V. series, in which Lassie's owners would constantly glean information from just a few barks.
