    • TRIVIA (6)

    • QUOTES (11)

      • Yang: I hate being the responsible one. It's so not me!

      • Yo: (to Yin and Yang) I'm going to a symposium on responsible parenting. But the toaster's above the bath tub, the steak knives are half-way down the basement stairway, the Internet's unblocked in case you need access to sites I'll never know about, and I'm leaving the door unlocked so Weird Lenny from under the freeway can check up on you.

      • Carl: Ah! A pretzel-scented mind-swap birthday candle! Thanks to Yin and Yang's negligence, they will receive the birthday present of their doom, without a gift receipt!

      • Herman: You're not my whiny brother Carl! You're my mortal enemy, Yo, in the body of my whiny brother Carl! (tackles him and they fight)
Edna: Try not to hit the curio cabinet with your brother's head!

      • Herman: There's something about you that's not quite right.
Cockroach Yo: Um, are my feelers all frizzy again?
Herman: Maybe that's it. (starts to walk away)
Yo: (speaks in a thought bubble) Phew.
Herman: (speaks in a thought bubble) What's up with him? ACHOO! Huh? (turns around in the thought bubble) It's YOU?!
        Yo: (in thought bubble) Aah!
        Cockroach Yo: Aah!

      • Cockroach Yo: (mutters to himself) Has to be the most suck-tacular birthday ever! Ooh, when I get my hands on those kids--
Edna: What's that, Carl? Speak up like a man! Like your brother, Herman, for instance.
Herman: Hmph! That will be the day!

      • Panda Carl: Okay, kids, birthday wish number one: Spelunk down the nostrils of Limbripper the Stone Giant and retrieve the Amethyst of Annhililation. Why it's there, I have no idea.

      • Cockroach Yo: You have a shrine to me?!--I mean, Yo?!
Edna: He's a very nice man. I wouldn't mind if he moved in here with us. Of course, we'd have to get Herman some Panda allergy shots...

      • Cockroach Yo: I have Carl's powers?! (chuckles) It's time for my birthday bash!

      • Edna: Be careful with your brother, Herman; he's just not as strong as you, or as smart, or as handsome...

      • (Carl tries to eavesdrop on Yin and Yang with his crystal ball, but gets static)
Carl: Why didn't I spring for digital?!

    • NOTES (1)

    • ALLUSIONS (4)

      • The Smork Bot: The pilot activating a watch to operate the machine is a parody of Giant Robo: The Day the Earth Stood Still.

      • Scholar Smork: This creature's name and even the way he acts is a parody of Brainy Smurf, a character from the 1980's Hanna-Barbera cartoon, The Smurfs.

      • Yin: El Dia de Los Muertos.
When Yang and Yin are going through a list of days of what Master Yo might possibly be celebrating, Yin mentions this real life Mexican and Spanish holiday! In English, it's the Day of the Dead, and Mexicans and Spaniards dress up in costumes and parade in the streets to celebrate the spirits of their ancestors.

      • Smorks: This title is a combination of the titles of the 1980's Hanna-Barbera cartoon shows The Snorks and The Smurfs. Additionally, the Smorks also act and dress like the Smurfs except the Smorks are green.
