Episode Summary

Yin! Yang! You!
Carl captures Lena and throws her into our dimension on Earth, into the home of Jason Earles! While Jason Earles is having an awesome hair rivalry with Mitchel Musso, Yin and Yang are forced to find her in what they think (and by their standards, rightfully so) a very strange, new world. Meanwhile, Carl also gets pulled into our world by Yin and Yang, and finds out that he might just be able to inflict more fear and chaos in our dimension then he can in his own, and manages to create his own cockroach army! With Lena becoming more like a real canine, and Yin and Yang becoming more like real rabbits at a fast rate, Yin and Yang are going to have to work fast and furious if they want to stop Carl's plan of blotting out the Earth's sun and sending him back to his own dimension!moreless

  • "Yin Yang Yo" enter into a state of shock by taking a visit from their world into our own! 8)

Just when it seemed that "Yin Yang Yo" couldn't come up with anything stranger, they find a way to do the weirdest, strangest, most bizarre event of all time, not in their dimension, but in our Own dimension! A truly epic crossover occurs very unexpectedly when Carl throws Lena onto Earth in this dimension, forcing Yin and Yang to chase after her! Chase episode besides, any "Yin Yang Yo" episode that features real life T.V. stars of a real life T.V. show Without even resorting to naming the show that the real life T.V. stars appear on, both earns my endorsement and my respect as a truly good cross over! I've never really Seen the stuff that Jason Earles or Mitchel Musso have appeared on, but if I Pretended that I did, I would probably say that I had no idea that they were both so obsessed over having such awesome hair! Meanwhile, we finally find out that Lena is a dog, and Yang's cool with that! An additional treat is getting to see Yin, Yang, Lena, and Carl look like realistic versions of their Earth animal counterparts, and seeing them display the same might and magic in our world that they regularly do in their own! 8) Best of all, Yin and Yang prove to Carl that whether he is in our dimension or in his own, he is Still going to get his butt kicked by the Woo Foo Warriors! Lena's relationship to both Yin and Yang become stronger than ever, while Jason Earles and Mitchel Musso learn that it's not important whether or not they have cool hair on the outside, but that they remain good friends to each other on the inside, which is a good way for both Lena and Jason Earles to celebrate their shared birthday's! Once again, it is a truly great episode that requires dedicated viewing from dedicated viewers. which I am proud to be one of them! :D Enough said, true believers! ;)moreless

Trivia, Notes, Quotes and Allusions

  • TRIVIA (8)

    • It's hinted that Jason Earles and Lena's birthdays fall near Easter. Since Jason's birthday in real life is on April 26th, and is near Easter, it can be assumed that this episode takes place on that date.

    • It's shown throughout the episode that Earth animals/bugs can only speak with their respective animal noises, with either Yin, Yang, or Carl to translate what's needed for the audience to understand. However it seems that the Earth Monkey and Cockroach are able to speak English.

    • It's learned in this episode that it has been exactly 1 year (in the world of Yin Yang Yo) since the events of Beetlemania, and it also happens to be Lena's birthday, which happens to fall on the same day as real life T.V. star's Jason Earles' birthday!

    • Running gags in this episode: 1. Yin and Yang keep arguing over Lena. 2. Whenever Lena, Yin and Yang try to communicate with humans, nobody understands them. 3. Everybody is continually surprised to talk about Lena actually being a dog! 4. Jason Earles and Mitchel Musso have a rivalry with each other to determine whose hair is more awesome (at least until it's removed by Carl.) 5. Yin, Yang, and Carl continuing to be shocked over the way Earth versions of their respective animals are treated. 6. Every human being scared of the realistic looking Carl and his huge cockroach army. 7. Yin, Yang, Carl, and Lena transforming into realistic animals. 8. Carl accidentally insulting real world cockroaches. 9. Jason Earles and Mitchel Musso keep calling each other by their full names. 10. Yang being unable to hold his sword when his paws change.

    • It's discovered in this episode that Yin, Yang, and Carl are able to use their powers in our dimension on Earth, as well as in their own.

    • First time that Yin, Yang, Lena, and Carl have appeared as realistic versions of their respective animals.

    • It is both revealed that not only Lena is a dog, but no one in the show knew she was one.

    • When Yin blasted herself and Yang out of the animal testing lab, her energy rays looked like Carl's.

  • QUOTES (7)

    • Yin: Yang, this tag says this plane is bound for "holly-would"!
Yang: We'll be there in no time! And by "no time", I mean "many long, boring hours in a dark, airless cabin".
Yin: Yay! It'll be like a conversation with you, only more interesting!

    • Yang: (to Lena) I'm coming for ya, honey-nubs!
      Yin: "Honey-nubs"?
Yang: We, uh, have our own language.

    • Girl: Daddy, I want a rabbit.
Carl: Ooh, I want a rabbit too, preferably deceased!

    • Lena: Let me go! I'm warning you!
Carl: Ooh, you're warning me . Your only power is to make Yin and Yang oodles less competent!

    • Yin and Yang: Woo Foo Aura!
Girl 1: Pfft, Aura Bunnies? Such a ripoff of Purse Bunnies.
      Girl 2: So not hot.

    • Yin (to Carl) This world might blow chowder...
Yang: But we'll stop you no matter what stupid world we're on!

    • (After the Woo Foo Warriors arrive back on their own world)
Yang: Woo-hoo! We're back to normal. I'm handsome again, and Lena, you're still a dog, which I all ready knew you were, but not a dog dog, a hot dog, ha. (Yin and Lina stare at him) I'll be quiet.

  • NOTES (2)

    • It appears that when Yin, Yang, Carl and Lena are in our dimension we, (meaning the humans on the show), can't understand what they are saying because in our dimension they talk like real animals.

    • This episode helps show that Yin's & Yang's world is not called Earth like our planet.

    • Yin: This Franny Redneckistanny concert is gonna be awesome!

"Franny Redneckistanny" is a parody of the teen pop star Miley Cyrus AKA Hannah Montana.
