It's hinted that Jason Earles and Lena's birthdays fall near Easter. Since Jason's birthday in real life is on April 26th, and is near Easter, it can be assumed that this episode takes place on that date.
It's shown throughout the episode that Earth animals/bugs can only speak with their respective animal noises, with either Yin, Yang, or Carl to translate what's needed for the audience to understand. However it seems that the Earth Monkey and Cockroach are able to speak English.
It's learned in this episode that it has been exactly 1 year (in the world of Yin Yang Yo) since the events of Beetlemania, and it also happens to be Lena's birthday, which happens to fall on the same day as real life T.V. star's Jason Earles' birthday!
Running gags in this episode: 1. Yin and Yang keep arguing over Lena. 2. Whenever Lena, Yin and Yang try to communicate with humans, nobody understands them. 3. Everybody is continually surprised to talk about Lena actually being a dog! 4. Jason Earles and Mitchel Musso have a rivalry with each other to determine whose hair is more awesome (at least until it's removed by Carl.) 5. Yin, Yang, and Carl continuing to be shocked over the way Earth versions of their respective animals are treated. 6. Every human being scared of the realistic looking Carl and his huge cockroach army. 7. Yin, Yang, Carl, and Lena transforming into realistic animals. 8. Carl accidentally insulting real world cockroaches. 9. Jason Earles and Mitchel Musso keep calling each other by their full names. 10. Yang being unable to hold his sword when his paws change.
It's discovered in this episode that Yin, Yang, and Carl are able to use their powers in our dimension on Earth, as well as in their own.
First time that Yin, Yang, Lena, and Carl have appeared as realistic versions of their respective animals.
It is both revealed that not only Lena is a dog, but no one in the show knew she was one.
When Yin blasted herself and Yang out of the animal testing lab, her energy rays looked like Carl's.
Yin: Yang, this tag says this plane is bound for "holly-would"!
Yang: We'll be there in no time! And by "no time", I mean "many long, boring hours in a dark, airless cabin".
Yin: Yay! It'll be like a conversation with you, only more interesting!
Yang: (to Lena) I'm coming for ya, honey-nubs!
Yang: We, uh, have our own language.
Girl: Daddy, I want a rabbit.
Carl: Ooh, I want a rabbit too, preferably deceased!
Lena: Let me go! I'm warning you!
Carl: Ooh, you're warning me . Your only power is to make Yin and Yang oodles less competent!
Yin and Yang: Woo Foo Aura!
Girl 1: Pfft, Aura Bunnies? Such a ripoff of Purse Bunnies.
Girl 2: So not hot.
Yin (to Carl) This world might blow chowder...
Yang: But we'll stop you no matter what stupid world we're on!
(After the Woo Foo Warriors arrive back on their own world)
Yang: Woo-hoo! We're back to normal. I'm handsome again, and Lena, you're still a dog, which I all ready knew you were, but not a dog dog, a hot dog, ha. (Yin and Lina stare at him) I'll be quiet.
It appears that when Yin, Yang, Carl and Lena are in our dimension we, (meaning the humans on the show), can't understand what they are saying because in our dimension they talk like real animals.
This episode helps show that Yin's & Yang's world is not called Earth like our planet.
Yin: This Franny Redneckistanny concert is gonna be awesome!
"Franny Redneckistanny" is a parody of the teen pop star Miley Cyrus AKA Hannah Montana.
