You Only Live Once

Show Summary

You Only Live Once is a talk show that originally aired on BBC 1 from July 17, 2000 to December 4, 2001. The show ran for two seasons, with six episodes per season. It appeared on Tuesday night at 7:00 pm, which was a competitive time slot at that time. The audience dropped below 3.5 million viewers at the end of the second season, and it was canceled due to low ratings. This talk show is produced by TalkBack Productions and directed by Ian Lorimer. Nick Hancock is the host, who interviews a single celebrity in each episode. The celebrity recalls his or her career with the aid of video clips. The first celebrity on the show was Boy George, best known as the lead singer in Culture Club. Additional guests for the first season include Mo Mowlam, Ozzy Osbourne, Mohammed Al-Fayed, Edwina Curry and Keith Floyd. The guests for the second season are Barbara Windsor, Steve Davis, Francis Rossi, Uri Geller, Griff Rhys Jones and Will Carling.
