I felt like they just did this episode to show Jake in a dress. Since her mom has come to town, and she needs to be there for the race, she has to go back and forth, changing clothes. It gets annoying after a while. I did like the moment between Jake and Hamilton, when he said he thought he would only have the chance to see her in a dress at a gay pride parade. Funny stuff!
I found it sad for Bella about not meeting her "dad." What a difficult situation for both her and Scout. I'm glad she at least got to speak with the Senator on the phone, even if she didn't let on who she was.moreless
