Captain Duvall's romantic rival returns from India, with his wife, Duvall's first love. When it seems he is stealing from King Louis, new opportunities arise...
This episode was so much fun!!! We got to know a little bit more about the musketeers' commanding officer and his history. Plus the episode is chocked full of Jaques and D'artagn (sp?) flirting! The scene where the theif is wearing the guise of Jaques, classic! I loved the moment where Jaques and Jacqueline came face to face and the expressions of those who knew this was wrong, wow! The moment even had me holding my breath! Everything about this episode rocked! I loved when King Louis got involved in the man hunt, or when he is trying to change his appearance, hilarious! This was one of the best episodes!!moreless
D'Artagnan: If I hadn't seen it with my own eyes, I never would have believed it.
Jacques/Jacqueline: What, seen what?
D'Artagnan: Not you, don't worry, your precious modesty is unthreatened.
Edit
Jacques/Jacqueline: Captain Duvall is no one's fool.
D'Artagnan: Love can make a fool of anyone. I'd do it myself, but it has to be someone Madame Pariso won't recognize.
Jacques/Jacqueline: And this is for the Captain?
D'Artagnan: Don't you owe him something?
Jacques/Jaqueline: All right.
D'Artagnan: He took you into the Musketeers and didn't ask you any questions.
Jacques/Jacqueline: All right.
D'Artagnan: Which is good because you don't have a lot of answers.
Jacques/Jacqueline: I said yes, so you can stop talking.
D'Artagnan: Stopping.
Edit
Siroc: If you're the real Captain Duvall tell us something only he would know.
Duvall: Like what?
D'Artagnan: Like what we got you for your last birthday.
Ramon: Yeah.
Duvall: Nothing. Bunch of thoughless, shiftless recruits.
Siroc: Yeah, that's the captain.
