What a Crockery was a superb episode of Young Hercules and I enjoyed watching as the three part series opener comes to a conclusion. It was awesome to watch young Hercules stand up to Ares, his half brother, and fight him and his plans with all the strength he had. There was a lot of good character and plot development as well. The story was well written, intriguing and had fit the series well. I certainly look forward to watching the next episode!!!!!!!moreless

    • Ares (to Strife): If you're going to make it to Olympian status, you're gonna have to stop letting half-Gods kick you around.

    • Strife (referring to his nubile serving girl): She phat or what?
Ares: Fat?! What, are you kidding me?
Strife: No, Uncle, not fat. Phat! She's a real Persephone, you know, fly, dope, def... groovy?

    • Jason and Iolaus (together): Ares!
Iolaus: He's shorter than I thought.
      Jason: Isn't he though?

    • Jason (referring to the phoenix): What do you think, it's going to rise out of the ashes and come back to life?

Actually, that's exactly what the mythical phoenix does. Egyptian mythology says that it dies a fiery death every 500 years and is reborn out of the ashes to live another 500 years.
