  • The cliffhanger is really bad sportsmanship by Cartoon Network!!

    10
First let me say this is a great episode! It leaves you with so many plot issues wrapped up one can say it is an acceptable series ending. Yet, it does leave one wanting and creates it own unanswered questions. / opportunities. OK, let's get started.

If as many are saying this episode is a series ending, why didn't Cartoon Network simply cut the last minute (with the introduction of what would have been next season)? I mean they didn't have to show it, did they? In fact, they could have given us another minute of advertising to watch and made some more money.

Unless -- of course -- Young Justice really isn't gone, but simply giving its time slot over to another DC Nation series for say the next 6 months or so . . . This would be the only valid reason I can see for them to NOT cut it. BUT WOW! What a cliffhanger ... Pro-human, anti-alien J. Gordon is working with or for Darkseid!! So with Savage, the Light, etc yeah, just goes to prove there are still a lot of dangling issues even if Cartoon Network had cut the cliffhanger, but they didn't! They left room for books, fan fiction, who knows maybe a movie or even season 3.

As for the episode, way cool!! Should it have been an hour long episode (as well as GL being an hour long) special, we,, duh, YEAH!! There was so much going on and so many lost opportunities to delve into the characters, especially given this could be the last episode ever. This is very true with the "death" of Kid Flash. What would I do with the extra time (or should there be a third season)? Artemis (now Tigress) is with Wally's child! After all they did have enough time from when the undercover mission ended and his death for some adult fun, right?! The child could have Wally's speed (well even faster) and his mother's skills. Of course to see the child develop there would have to be a lot of time, but you never know maybe something like an Angel event could occur to help it all along. (Remember when Connor (Angel's Son) went to another dimension . . .). Well, enough fantasizing, it is and isn't healthy.

This is a great episode and a wonderful send off. It has been a wonderful series for both teenagers and adults. Sigh. I'm just thinking about what's replacing it (at least temporarily, if not permanently). I really do like the Teen Titans, but the previews for this version seems to be directed at 4 to 7 year olds. Only time will tell the tale, as what Cartoon Network and DC Nation provides to its teenager and adult viewers.moreless
  • Don't you End a Great Show!!

    10
Flash disappearing in the season final battle makes room for a third season. For those of us who watched Brave and the Bold know that when Speedsters disappear like that they are just in the Speed Force running in an Endless loop.
  • They save the Best for Last

    8.5
They save the best for last as this episode was making the show explore like it did i didn't like that M'agann and Super boy had to talk the Rimbor council to letting the heroes go it would've been better if they presented the evidence and they let the Justice League go in time to get to earth and help out the Team but it was stupid to me and i was also disappointed they killed Wally West out of the show that was crazy i hated that part but it excited me i also love the fact that Black Lightning reached out to Static at the nearing end of the episode and that Tim Drake is dating Wonder Girl and after the death of Kid flash i think there should have been more crying over his death for The Flash Barry Allen didn't cry neither did Bart Allen aka impulse but i loved the very ending Darkseid being brought into the equation of the young justice team now I know their's still hope for another season of this clasic great Cartoonmoreless
  • Seriously I hate cliffhangers

    9.0
This was a really great episode. And very heartbreaking when Kid Flash sacrificed himself. However, one thing ruins it. It ENDS ON A CLIFFHANGER. This made me want to know how they would be able to take down Darkseid in the third season, if it was made. But no, they cancel it with a cliffhanger. But like I said before this was a great episode. I felt sorrow for Artemis when Kid Flash died. Personally, I think Kid Flash is alive but since the show is canceled, we may never know.moreless

    • Impulse: So, you suited up. But as Tigress?
Artemis: Artemis was Wally's partner. I need some distance. I need a change. So let's see how Tigress does.
