@sy, I used Capricorn's Club, but I found a pretty powerful one way back.

The Lunar Sanctum took me forever to beat. I believe that's one of the chapters I kept restarting cause I wasn't used to the level 5 difficulty yet.

I'll have to experiment. I'm not that used to Clubs. The Phosphera Bow has been a good weapon for me for a while now.

@edmaster: I know how you feel. I died so many times when I first fought Arlon it isn't even funny. His puzzles always took away a good chunk of my health.

Yeah, clubs are insanely difficult to use. Admittedly, I've tried to beat some of the chapters with clubs, but it usually doesn't work out to well. I can't seem to deflect the enemy projectiles back at them with great accuracy or timing. I usually main the Divine Bow or one of the blades.

Same. It's easy to deflect fire in air battles, but very difficult in land battles.

So far this game is a combination of:

At any given order, at any given time. I love it.

I think i'm at chapter 17, but missed some dialog or something, because a few chapters back Paulatena was all evil and then in the next one, Virida starts telling me that she's locked up and in danger.

Basically Palutena is under the control of the Chaos Kin. She's somewhat aware of what she's doing, but mostly it's the Chaos Kin in command.

Uprising's story is one of its weak points honestly. It's a good story, but the plots are all over the place. I honestly think the whole Aurum thing and the Chaos Kin plot would have worked as their own games.

Yeah, story jumps all over the place. It takes a while to follow since most of the exposition is done as you are killing everything in the air. The jump from Chapter 17 to 18 was really sudden.

I'm also doing a double Nuzlocke run through, one in Yellow and one in White. Currently in Yellow my team is:

    Jacob (Pikachu) Lvl 22
    Bryce (Charmeleon) Lvl 20
    Daniella (Ivysaur) Lvl 21
    Ryan (Butterfree) Lvl 20
    Tracey (Mankey) Lvl 16
    Amy (Spearow) Lvl 22

    Boxed

    Peter (Diglett) Lvl 17
    Abby (Pidgey) Lvl 15
    Jen (Oddish) Lvl 14
    David (Geodude) Lvl 17
    Jaki (Nidoqueen) Lvl 19

I'm on Lt Surge, but not too worried about him. So far only Mitchell (Rattata) has died, but that was a long time ago, and due to Tackle missing.

    In White, I have:

    Dai (Oschawott) Lvl 14
    Rando (Lillipup) Lvl 12
    Lepar (Purloin) Lvl 8
    Bao (Pansear) Lvl 10

I'm on the first gym, but I'm hoping I run into Roggenrola in the cave, as I need everything I can get against Lenora.

Good to hear it neoyamato. I might consider replaying Diamond or something. Just to do something until Dream Drop Distance comes out.

    Solid team there, Neo.

Also, Jolteon is better in *Every* possible way to Pikachu. So. Just have that in mind when you reach celadon, just in case.

I think I like how the story goes in KIU, it's crazy, zany, rapid and all over the place, just like everything else in the game. Plus, God Sun that's totally a slightly more hammy version of the Human Torch turned out to be evil and takes over space invaders to become ultra powerful and talk in 0s and 1s. Awesome.

It helps that Pyrrhon is voiced by Troy Baker. It suits him perfectly.

Like I said, I like the story, especially the relationship between Palutena and Pit. For me, it;s just a little too inconsistent.

Just took me a while to remember the dialog. For a bulk of the game, I got most of the story by replaying the chapters multiple times so I heard the dialog repeated, which was generally very awesome. I loved all the references to the other nintendo games.

And yeah, Pikachu can't do much in Yellow since it refuses to evolve and based on the movepool back then.

Started playing Spider-man: Edge of Time on Tuesday. Finished it yesterday after around four sittings total.

Short but ok game. The story was cool and the dialog shined at times.

Yeah I've heard that game isn't bad. Not as good as Shattered Dimensions but still respectable. From what I've see of it the game looks decent.

It's the perfect rental game. Glad i got it for 20 bucks.

Though it also feels rushed. SPECIALLY in a boss fight with the fusion between Anti-Venom, Doctor Octopus and the game's first made-up villain.
The fight consists of getting Atrocity (how Peter names it) into a gas chamber so it's knocked out enough for you to get DNA on it. Like in any video game ever, you are required to do this three times and the first time is really easy, the second time though, there are space-time tentacles in the way, so you have to web them to make them vanish, while Atrocity is teleporting to catch up to you, and takes out a good chunk of your life every time it does. Third time just speeds up things.
I died during the third part, then i thought "Oh, maybe i can use the dodge special to avoid getting grabbed" [left trigger in both spideys activate a dodge move, in Peter it's basically a 'nothing hits you for a while' move] but when i got to it i thought "I could just use the dodge special to enter the gas room through the tentacles and leave using it again." and it worked. The entire boss battle lasted less than two minutes. And it was mostly cutscene stuff.

Still, combat is fun, and the game ends before it's too repetitive. Plus LOTS of costumes.

Oh, and i just finished the main story in Kid Icarus.

Yeah, that story ends on a fairly good note. I definitely wouldn't mind another Kid Icarus in the future. Hopefully before 25 more years pass.

Yeah, the final fight is epic. And I just beat Lenora in White, with minimal casualties. My remaining team would be

    Dai (Dewott) Lvl 25
    Doryu (Drilbur) Lvl 21
    Rando (Herdier) Lvl 21
    Lepar (Purrloin) Lvl 16

    Boxed

    Sharna (Muuna) Lvl 8

So far my Pidove, Tympole, and Pansear have fainted, the first two dying valiantly during training due to criticals and my Pansear took the brunt of Lenora's Watchog's Retaliate, which coincidentally was also a critical hit.

EDIT: Oops, well Lepar died too. Dang Sewaddle and its Bug Bite.
