  • The weakest episode of the entire series if you ask me.

    7.0
I love this show and everything, but even I need to admit the plot was preatty weak. All that happened was Yusei faced Mukuro who took the place of Shira in the Fortune Cup. Don't get me wrong, I like Mukuro's deck and personalty, but I kinda wanted to see Shira's deck and why he's called Reaper Reborn. And Yusei didnt even use Stardust Dragon. As I said, the weakest episode in terms of plot, but it's better then the dub. I still dont get why they made him Western. Marc Thompson is a good voice actor, but he fails with western accents. Dont even get me started on Ted Lewis....moreless
  • What an absolutely horrible card

    5.0
So, let me get this straight:

    Gap Storm

Activate only while the difference between the Speed Counters on a "Speed World" you control and a "Speed World" your opponent control is 10 or more. Destroy all Spell and Trap Cards on the field.

    http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Speed_Spell_-_Gap_Storm

Can I just say this may be the worst "winning" card I've ever seen in any Yu-Gi-Oh series, ever? As directly established in this episode, Speed World can never have more than 12 counters on it, so a situation where the card can even be activated is ludicrously unlikely to arise without the cooperation of both players. And even then, all you get for arranging such a situation is a symmetrical effect. Yusei still had to have this ridiculously powerful monster with umpteen special abilities lying around to actually win after that.

I'd be amazed if this card is ever seen again, given the convolutions it took to set up a situation where it was actually useful.moreless
