  • This Is AWESOME, a Duel with Pegasus and a Misunderstanding.

This is the most AWESOME episode in the Series, Crowler and Bonaparte got yelled at By Chancellor Sheppard, and they thought that He fired them, Also Maximillion Pegasus is still one of my Favorite YU-GI-OH characters, Because He's AWESOME!!!!, and I hope that Someday I'll get a chance to meet Darren Dunstan in person.
  • Pegasus duels!

    9.8
I really liked this episode. Pegasus has always been one of my favorites, and his deck is awesome as well. Pegasus duels Dr. Crowler and Bonaparte for a chance for them to work for him after the two get fired by Sheppard(sp). Pegasus' deck was really cool. He played a lot of toon cards and in the end, he defeated the two. He still offered him the job to work for him, but then Sheppard comes and says he didn't fire them, he just wanted them to leave him alone for the time being. Overall, this was a really good episode.moreless

this episode was just so funny and exciting! it was funciting! I'm glad to see pegasus's toons again and to se crowler and bonaparte get clobbered by them made it all the sweeter1 if those 2 were beggin me to hire them I'd either give them jobs as janitors or throw them off my leg like they were mangy dogs! ahahhaahhaha! quite a funny duel and I hope we see more triangle duels in the future!moreless
  • One of the best of Genex tournament episode. And this is one time you'll see Pegasus duel after losing to Yugi before.

    9.7
After Crowler and Bonaparte were argunig of whose better in front of Sheppard, Sheppeard tells them to get out, thinking they wer fired. And even the whole school knows about them been fired (Probably all the students were having a happy party). Yet when Pegasus came for the meeting, they want Pegasus to hired them.Pegusus gladly accepts it (when both of them keeps hawking his legs) but in one condition...they must defeat him first in order to get the job in a triangle duel. But during the duel, he stir things up that the one who gets higher Lifepoints will get a better position making Bonaparte declare war on Crowler when they were supposed to be working together. In the end both manage to work together but still loses to Pegasus but shows great teamwork. Overall, these two dudes should get fired. Hehe!moreless

Pegasus agrees to give them a job if they duel him. they both agree and thus the duel begins. Pegasus once again is using his toon deck and use toon dark magician girl. crowler and bonapart are fighting but later agree to work together. Pegasus is able to turn crowler's gear golem into a toon ancient gear golem which he uses to defeat the two. they turn out not to be fired so they will stay at the academy. Trivia, Notes, Quotes and Allusions

FILTER BY TYPE

  • TRIVIA (1)

    • When Pegasus played "Ancient Gear Explosive", "Ancient Gear Golem" would have been destroyed, meaning he couldn't attack Crowler directly with the card.

  • QUOTES (6)

    • (After Pegasus plays Toon Dark Magician Girl)
Syrus: She's pretty cute don't you think? You know...for a cartoon.

    • After Pegasus draws his Toon Kingdom card
Pegasus: And now I courtuly invite you both to join me for a trip to Toon Land!
Crowler & Bonaparte: To Toon Land?
      Jaden: So what's Toon Land?
      Syrus: You're kidding, right?

    • After hearing that the whole school knows that both of them have been fired, Crowler and Bonaparte turns white
Tyranno: They looked like they have seen a ghost!
Jaden: Correction: They looked like they Are ghost!

    • (After Pegasus played Toon Alligator on the field)

    • (when Pegasus decides to duel Dr. Crowler and Bonaprte)

      Syrus: I saw it coming.

  • NOTES (3)

    • Featured Duel: Dr. Crowler and Bonaparte vs. Pegasus

    • Due to the change in the rules, the effects of some of Pegasus' cards as well as Toons have changed:
Doppelganger: now requires him to remove five of his cards from play to take one card from the opponent's graveyard and add it to your hand.
Toon Invulnerability: In the Yu-Gi-Oh movie and Deja Duel, Toon World required one thousand life points activation, like its real world counterpart but the toons were still invincible as they were in Duelist Kingdom. Here, using Toon Kingdom (which has the same activation cost as Doppelganger), Pegasus makes them immune to battle by discarding a card from his deck.
Toon Transformation: Originally, any monster summoned while Toon World was on the field, morphed into a Toon Version of itself. Though neither Toon World or Toon Kingdom posses this ability, Pegasus accomplishes this by Comic Hand. A new card which takes possesion of an opponent's monster and turns it into a toon. (similar to Snatch Steal)

    • This is the first time we see Pegasus dueling in Yu-Gi-Oh GX.

  • ALLUSIONS (1)

    • Laurel and Hardy

Pegasus mentions Crowler and Bonaparte as the 1920's comedy duo of a tall skinny man and his small fat sidekick.
