(After knowing that his lunch has been eaten by his cat, Pharoah, who happens to hitch a ride in his bag)
Professor Banner: Maybe you could share your lunch with me?
Jaden: (Sarcasm) Sorry! We're you're students! We need this to learn!
Syrus: Jaden... tested? In a tomb? Where he could be buried alive??? Something tells me that this test isn't Midterms!
Chumley: Oooooh... Reddd...
Syrus: That is NOT a good thing Chum!
Gravekeeper Chief: (referring to Jaden) Once again, you have shown the wisdom of dirt!
Gravekeeper's Chief: get down!
Jaden: TOWARDS the sharp object?
Jaden: This is no joke, if I don't get my game on, we're all gonna be long gone!
Professer Banner: I just love pizza!
Jaden: Huh? You get pizza while we're stuck with...whatever it is I'm holding?!
Professer Banner: I'm your teacher! I need a big meal to, uh, teach you all!
Chumley: It's 7:00 A.M. in the morning, I need my beauty sleep.
One of the cards in Gravekeeper's Chief's hand that he never used was "Tutan Mask". Exactly why he had it is somewhat of a mystery, because this card only works with Zombie-Type Monsters, and Gravekeepers are Spellcasters.
This is the first time Jaden and friends enter Duel Monster World *Dominion of the Beasts*, as shown in Yu Gi Oh!. This time we see some secluded and isolated egyptian stone islands for egyptian related monsters.
Jadens opponent uses "Gravekeeper" cards, which can be used quite well if all played together.
They forget to mention in the dub that Gravekeeper's Assailant is granted her special effect thanks to Necrovalley.
Duel Academy is apparently on a much bigger island than it's always seemed, considering a hike to the ruins was ten miles long.
Egyptian music is played in parts of this episode.
Jaden sleeps through Professer Banner's class, and draws eyes above his closed eyes.
In the Japanese version, Jaden hears everyone crying for help outside the window. In the dub, he only hears Alexis.
