  • Man this episode Pisses me off!

    1.3
I hate this episode. I find it lame that the best tag team duelist out there are Para and Dox. They are really annoying and the best tag team duo is Joey and Yugi. I guess they were probably saving the world again though. I guess it was okay to see some old faces again. Its pretty wise of Para and Dox to pick on Sryus. In a tag duel if you gang up on someone and leave one person standing then the odds of you winning are greater. Watching the orginal version taught me that. Anyways this episode was awful.moreless

Yeah, it was pretty good. L.O.L. those goofy Paradox bros again? :> I never thought that they would come again, at least they played the real gate guardian, instead of that dumb "They are 3 in 1" Thing. They seemed to have fixed their deck for the new rules, which is impressive. Jaden and Syrus, take them down!!! You know you can do it! Prove Crowler Wrong! It is basically a good episode to watch if you want know deck ideas. I can't really say much more. Just that it was a good episode that didn't really move the story line. It should have been reduced.moreless

the paradox brothers are revealed to be the oppents of jaden and syrus. they have similar decks from before now they must sacrifise. both teams get 8000 life points to share. syrus keeps messing up while jaden tries to hang in there. the brothers have some new tricks up there sleaves. the paradox brothers work together to get their guardian on the field. at the very end it comes out attakcs, and it shows the sign we all reconize and hate to be continued. the next episode looks like a blast. i have nothing left to say. go away from me!moreless
  • Jaden and Syrus vs The Annoying Paradox Brothers that rhyme too much. This episode is about Teamwork and How you should work together to Maintain a Positive Self-Concept!

Jaden and Syrus vs The Annoying Paradox Brothers that rhyme too much. This episode is about Teamwork and How you should work Together to Maintain a Positive Self-Concept. I copiied that from My teacher. Anyways, this Episode's about Jaden and Syrus working together to destroy the Dark Guardian! Let the Craziness Begin!
  • To tell you the truth, I didn't like the Baldy Brothers in the original series. Too many rhymes!

So it's the duel we've been waiting for! Jaden knows he can win, but Syrus is moping around and can't even play defense mode without flinching. Meanwhile, Para and Dox are able to get Suijin, Sanga, and Kazejin out on the field in less than 5 turns, and Jaden is unable to do it himself. Unless Syrus helps him out, the Gate Guardian will ThunderStroke Attack those two off the island.moreless

Trivia, Notes, Quotes and Allusions

FILTER BY TYPE

  • TRIVIA (7)

    • When Para asks Dox if he can use Kaiser Seahorse to summon Sanga of the Thunder, Dox says that it is he who is allowed to summon it. Sanga of the Thunder is Para's monster, not Dox's.

    • In the original Yu-Gi-Oh! series, when one of the three monsters that make the Gate Guardian is summonned he had to remain locked inside a box until all three are on field.

    • Why did Jaden try attacking "Dark guardian" with his Elemental Hero Tempest" in the first place? He wasted a card for its effect for nothing.

    • How did Para know that "Sanga of the Thunder" was at the top of his deck without looking? For that matter, how did Jaden know that it was a level 7 monster?

    • In real life Kazejin's effect couldn't have reduced Steam Gyroid's attack to 0 Its effect only activates when it's targeted by an attack, not an opponent.
In addition, if its effect is used, the attack is not just negated. When the attack is reduced to 0, the attacker would take damage equal to whatever mode Kazejin was in with its effect.

    • LOOK CLOSELY: When Rampart Blaster is shown on top of it's card for Defense Mode, the card shown is Clayman instead of Rampart Blaster.

    • Dox used dark designator on Para. This is impossible as the card only works on an opponent.

  • QUOTES (10)

    • Chumley: If you lose, you'll be on the next bus outta here!
Jaden: Well, there's nothing to worry about, 'cause we're not gonna lose! Oh, and Chumley, we're on an island...bus?
      Chumley: Whatev's.

    • Jaden: When he's in Defense Mode, Rampart Blaster can attack an opponent directly. Sure, it's only half the point you'd normally get, but, hey, it's a special ability. What're ya' gonna do?

    • Para: (after Gate Guardian attacks Syrus) Yes, it hurts.
Dox: And it only gets worse.
Syrus: If it gets as bad as this rhyming, we're in big trouble.

    • Alexis: I've read about these guys, the greatest tag duelists in the world. This is hardly fair.
Bastion: I think that was Crowler's point.

    • Chumley: If you don't win, you'll be on the next bus outta here.
Jaden: Chumley, we're on an island... bus?

    • Syrus: (thinking) I can't let anyone get to me. Especially Zane. I have to believe in myself. (faster and faster) Believe in myself, believe in myself, believe in myself, believe in myself... (out loud) I'm gonna believe in myself, Jaden!!
      Jaden: Uh... that's great, Sy.

    • Dox: Well, it's your move! What are you waiting for?
Syrus: (thinking) To be honest, a miracle.

    • Jaden: I've never heard of these guys.
Syrus: Me neither. Maybe this won't be so bad after all.
Dr. Crowler: Perhaps, afterall, they haven't dueled in ages, and their last opponent was a child. I believe he went by the name of Yugi something.
      (pause)
      Syrus: The King of Games?!

    • Crowley: They think they can beat Para and Dox? They stink worse than dirty socks! HA! Now they've got me doing it!

    • Jaden: (Refering to the Paradox Brothers) please, these guys couldn't beat male pattern baldness!
Jaden: (Reffering to his field) Okay, lets see, moster role call... I have my Burstinatrix and Syrus has his... little helicopter thing....
