Episode Summary

EDIT
Valon activates Phoenix Gravitation, allowing him to revive 4 armor monsters to the field and equip them. Valon's victory seems ensured, but Joey turns the tables again, brings back Hermos, and combines it with Valon's Big Bang Blow to form Big Bang Dragon Blow. The two armored duelists attack each other, and the outcome looks like a draw. But because of Big Bang Dragon Blow's special ability, Joey destroys all of Valon's armor monsters and reduces his LPs down to 0. Content with his defeat, Valon accepts his punishment. His last words are telling Joey to save Mai. With that, his soul is taken. Mai kneels next to his body and cries, but eventually returns to her evil self again and says he deserved it. Joey denies it and says Valon dueled like a true duelist. He challenges Mai to a duel, saying that is the only way he'll be able to understand her. Meanwhile, Yami Yugi, Tea, and Tristan are still having no luck finding Joey, and Kaiba and Mokuba are ambushed by Orichalcos Soldiers again. As Joey and Mai's duel begins, Mai starts out with her usual Harpy combo. Joey realizes how damaged he is from his duel with Valon. He is trembling and can barely see straight. However, Joey still duels, not holding anything back like he did in his last duel with Mai. But things for him worsen as Mai plays The Seal of Orichalcos. In addition, without Valon to stop the duel this time, one of their souls will be taken by the duel's end.moreless

The duel between Joey and Valon is coming to an end. Valon uses his Phoenix Gravitation to play 4 armor monsters from his graveyard to create his most powerful suit yet. Joey merges Hermos with one of Valon's cards to create an awesome fist and their attacks collide in a huge explosion. Joey announces his cards effect and Valon's life points go down to 0. The Orichalcos then take his soul and Dartz says that they have a powerful soul now for the great Leviathon. Mai runs over to Valon and cries, saying he was a fool and he deserved this. Joey tells her she was wrong, and that no one deserves to have their soul taken away. Joey realizes that the only way to snap Mai out of it, is to duel her, and so they duel. Mai starts out with her Cyber Harpies, but things get bad when she plays the Seal of Orichalcos. Joey is trying to hang on, but he is too exhausted from his previous duel. Very good episode, one of my all time favorites.moreless
