Episode Summary

EDIT
Seto learns of Aknadin's plan to seal Kisara's soul in stone in order to obtain the Blues-White Dragon from her. Aknadin believes it's the only thing that can defeat Diabound and Bakura, but Seto refused to let her die and he tried to free her from the monsters using his millennium rod. When he almost fell down the pit, Kisara summoned the Blue-Eyes to save them both. Meanwhile, Bakura inserted more items into the secret tablet of the millennium items, when all of a sudden, he was pushed back by a dark force. It's revealed that Bakura is trying to revive Zorc, the creator of the shadow realm by putting the items into the tablet. Zorc told him that there is an eighth key that is needed for his revival, the Pharaoh's name. Elsewhere, Mana meets up with Yugi and the others on the beach when she mistaken Yugi for the Pharaoh. In a cave, Pharaoh wakes up to see a mysterious figure with a golden mask in front of him. The man tells him about Bakura's plan to revive Zorc, the dark one and how it's up to the pharaoh to stop him. Afterwards, he leaves the cave but is then reunited with Yugi and the others at the end of the episode.moreless

Trivia, Notes, Quotes and Allusions

FILTER BY TYPE

  • TRIVIA (4)

    • Mana can see Yugi and his friends.

    • Seto cuts Kisara free with the dagger inside the Millennium Rod that was always digitized out when Marik used it in Seasons 2 and 3.

    • There's a hint that Kisara loves Seto. She wouldn't summon the Blue Eyes White Dragon to save herself, only when Seto put himself in danger to protect her.

    • Returning all 7 Millennium Items to the stone tablet, along with the 8th key, will release Zorc. The 8th key is the Pharaoh's name, which is why he had it erased from history and chipped away from the stone tablet on display in the museum in the future and erased his own memory, so no one could ever learn it and release Zorc again. Bakura has to find it now, in the past, before it was erased.

  • QUOTES (5)

    • Joey: Hey, that looks just like the Pharaoh's cape! Where did you get that!?
Bobasa: It was floating in the Nile next to my lunch.
Joey: Yeah, well there wouldn't happened to have been a person attached to it, was there?
Bobasa: No, but there was some yummy fish next to it.
Joey: Will you stop thinking with your stomach for once!!

    • Mana: Pharaoh!
      Yugi: Huh?
Mana: What happened to you my king? You've shrunk! And your dressed in strange clothing... actually you all are.
      Téa: I love this outfit!

    • Mana: Up high! Down low! To the side! Now go, go, GO!

    • Aknadin: (thinking) Seto, if you will not seize your destiny, then I will just have to seize it for you, my son.

    • Aknadin: Seto, did you see that? That girl harbors a creature more powerful than the Egyptian gods themselves. We must take it from her. of course, doing so will mean sealing her soul away in stone...
Seto: Have you lost your mind?!
