  • Behold the Power of the Egyptian Gods

I don't care wahta nyone says I don't care taht they think its no good using the Egyptian Gods we'll I say stuff its becuse of them I like the Show and watch

Having the Egyptian Gods as the main sorce of power shows just how powerful they really are I mean they beat a force that existed long before they did and won, The Egyptian Gods are the strongest creatures in duel monsters, I always cheer them on everytime i see them call in action, In my Fan Fics I'll always have the Egyptian Gods as the main sorce of power I like them so much but it was a shame the Lengdery Knights where beaten easily but the Gods of Egypt really kick buttmoreless
  • This episode shows exactly how NOT to do a climactic final battle.

    1.0
God I hate this episode. This takes nearly everything important and makes it utterly pointless. For example, Joey and Kaiba were both revived in the previous episode. You'd think that the fact that they were the only souls aside from Yugi's that were revived, they'd play an important part in this final battle. That's not the case. The two do nothing except get smacked around until Yugi is forced to face the Leviathan on his own. Okay, I admit, they did transfer their energy to Yugi to help him defeat Dartz(didn't we see this back in DBZ?), but seeing as how so did every soul that was absorbed by the leviathan, they could have just as well have been absorbed with the other defeated duelists and achieved the same effect.

Well, so that means Joey and Kaiba pretty much don't do much more than take up empty space. Oh well. There's still the 3 Legendary Knights. After all, using their power to defeat Dartz was the entire point of this storyline, right? Wait a second, what? What do you mean the Leviathan easilly destroys all three knights at the very beginning of the episode?!

Yami Yugi defeats the Leviathan by summoning none other than the three Gods. Yes, the Egyptian Gods once again become the main power of defeating the villain in an anime story(also see the 2004 movie). It amazes me that the anime's writers always fall back on Obelisk, Sliefer, and Ra. In the two arcs based on the manga, Battle City and Dawn of the Duel, while the Gods played an important role, they weren't they final weapon Yugi used to defeat each arc's main foe. Apparently, the anime writers keep forgetting this. *sigh*

Of course, it isn't over yet. Dartz STILL refuses to lie down and die, and comes back one more time.

Disappointing episode. 1 out of 10.moreless
