  • Demon World and democracy?

    8.8
Yusuke visits Yomi's home as his first action as King. Though he pulled a rather bold move in suggesting that Demon World be ruled under democracy. Rather than voting the leader, they'll be fighting for it in a tournament. Yusuke shows that he was serious as he carved the names of many demons within valuable stones that were precious to Raizen's country. Yomi dislikes the idea, but Makuro, who has been eavesdropping using Heia's Jagan eye, spites him by agreeing to Yusuke's terms. Yomi is still undecided, but gains confidence when his son's power level is continuing to increase within a chamber. Back in Raizen's territory, many old friends visit and mourn the grave of their beloved friend, even the girl who dumped Raizen in favour of the human girl. All together, they emitted a powerful blast that equaled to Makuro and Yomi's power level. Yomi then agrees to the government Yusuke proposed, making him equal to his own henchmen.

This is like the first funniest episode in a long time. Yomi asked Kurama and the six fighters to hide within the next room just in case Yusuke tried assassinating him. Since Yomi has such good ears, they communicate through writing their thoughts on paper and showing it to everyone, and there are several moments that are quite humourous. Plus, seeing that bald monk guy go crazy when Yusuke ruined their kingdom's precious stones was rather hilarious. He always had a serious face on, and it was pretty funny to see his face like that. Though other than that, even though there isn't a bigass war like I would have hoped, it does turn out better than meets the eye. And I loved how all those demonds combined their power to send a blast all the way to the skies. It pumps up the excitement for the next episode.moreless
