Hiei was the result of his mom falling in love with some fire demon if I remember correctly, right? Because that's the only way that she could bear a child who was a boy, and who was a fire demon instead of an ice maiden. So then I was wondering, since they never show you anything about Hiei's father in the show, who do you think he might be. could it possibly be a character that was shown very briefly. Or if you don't think that, then what do you think his father would have been like? I think that his father would probably be really fast like him, and maybe a high A, or even a low S class demon. However I was wondering what other people thought.

Probably a high class demon..... Cant think of any character shown, but perhaps he was long since dead. Why else wouldnt Hiei search for him?

Maybe he just plain wasn't interested in finding out who his father was. That's what I'm guessing. There's a lot of things about Hiei that I still don't understand, so it's possible that he just doesn't care.

Perhaps he might have wanted to seek revenge for not fathering him. We'll never know...

Perhaps his father can be that evil guy that I made up in my YYH sequel (fan fic). He would appear to be an SW offical, but he's actually a powerful fire-demon disguised as one.

    I don't believe Hiei's father is powerful.

I guess I see how you think that, because if he was very powerful he would probably be some notorious demon that Hiei would've eventually heard about. IDK, he could be powerful, except maybe he might seclude/isolate himself from others for his own reasons.

I think Hiei's father was an average strength A class or B class demon. I just don't think Hiei really cared about finding his father and in plain he was probably just some random demon who had sex with his mom.

You're probably right, lol . But still, it would be really cool if his father turned out to be some super powerful S class demon. Possibly even one of Raizen's old rivals. You never really know for sure. Maybe if they ever make a sequel to YYH, they might show him.

Yeah, and then Hiei would end up looking like him in some way.

I think that whoever Hiei's dad is, he's probably green, like Hiei's true form.

Don't forget that is Hiei's "Evil Eye Transformation" and it he becomes greenish with eyes covering his entire body and amplifies the Jagan. Hiei's father wouldn't look like that unless he also had a Jagan Eye.

That's not his true form It's a form that the Jagan Eye gives him.If it was his true form he would have been green when he was born.

Maybe there is something in the manga about him, doubt it though.

Personally, I imagine his father looking somewhat human. Probably the same style of hair. And he's probably really fast just like Hiei. Hopefully he's a lot taller, lol .

Well, that's just one more good reason on a long list of them to make a sequel.

No, it's because of his jagan eye..... It's stated in episode 30, if you were wondering....

It would actually be pretty cool though if the DOTDF was a technique passed down from generation to generation (sort of like a blood limit technique in Naruto), and that Hiei inherrited it from his father.
