I started watching it and got hooked on the series back when Toonami was airing on Saturday nights. I don't remember all the shows but I think part of the line-up included YYH, along with DBZ, Ronin Warriors and Ruroni (sp?) Kenshin. Of which all but the last got me really hooked on action/martial arts anime.

Same here, i think i also remember Knights of the Zodiac on cartoon-network at one time along with IGPX. (Never liked that show)

Yeah, I remember those last two as well, didn't really care much for either of them. But you did remind me of what I believe was the first or second Toonami-based mini-series "Invasion" that introduced us to Tom 2.

Yeah, and maybe you guys can confirm or debunk my claim, but from what I could tell they always cut the lineage off right at the start of the Yusuke/Shinobu fight. That totally s*cked!

Didn't get hooked so much as I was consumed by it. It was episode 1 on Toonami's rising sun lineup i think was where i saw it, just flippin the channels and boom, the rest is obsessive history. Kuwabara Rules.

I'd agree...It was a similar way of finding it for me, then I just had to see them all. HIEI is the man!

I was in like first or 2 grade when I first started watching YYH.
I missed it lots once Toonami took it off. I started to watch the anime last year (2009) and still love it. Now I'm 14(15 in days) So been a fan for like a long time. The fighting, demons, ghost, and cute guys made me like it a lot. I kinda wish there was more of YYH.

I think I was 10 or 11 at the time. I watched the series on Adult Swim. At first I just liked it, but eventually I grew to become obsessed.
