Yvon of the Yukon

Show Summary

Welcome to the Yvon of the Yukon guide at TV.com. Yvon Ducharme is a simple boob of an explorer, booted from France in the 17th century and accidentally frozen in the Arctic ice for 300 years. When a hip Inuit teenager named Tommy takes his sled dog Mutt for a walk, the pooch lifts his leg on Yvon and lets the defrosted Frenchman loose on the town of Upyermukluk. To Tommy's delight, the smelly, stubborn, and fantastically confused Yvon manages to both charm and annoy the many screwballs and misfits who call Upyermukluk home. Will Yvon succeed in conquering this freeze-dried land in the name of his long-dead King? Will he steal a smooch from Big Mary of the Bingo Hall? And will Tommy ever teach him that a toaster-oven is not for drying your undies?

  • One of the most funniest shows ever!

    10
Yvon of the Yukon has one of the most racist funniest jokes ever! Every episode of this Canadian favourite episode of a french explorer named Yvon who has tried to find the new world but got lost at sea. This is one of my favourites because I'm candian and cause it is so funny. Not only is this show funny, it's teaches a bit of history. Also Bill's weird storys about his ancestorys are so funny, this is one of the best and funniest shows on candian tv. Mostly how each episode is wacky and fresh in it's own way is also episode. Go YVON!moreless
  • Back when I was younger this was my personal favourite.

    8.2
Yeah, yeah this show isnt for everyone. It has alot of fart jokes, gross out jokes, butt jokes and toilet jokes but this show actually lets you know there doing that. It's not like those other shows like 6teen were out of nowhere some gross appears. On YOTY it's funny when you see stuff like this. The charaters are at least original. Yvon- french guy who ends up sailing to the new world just to get frozen for 200 years.

Tommy- Yvons best friend. Probally the smartest one on the show it's just that no one believes him.

The creators were genius with this show. Too bad when they decided to create being ian, it was lamer then ever. And they crossed over yvon in the lamest way possible.moreless
  • I love this show! It may be gross, but in a funny way.

    9.8
I love this show! It may be gross, but in a funny way. The characters and episodes are well thought up, the Yukon is a great setting, seeing Yvon wandering around in his pants untouched by the cold is hilarious enough, the theme tune is good enough to sing along to, Yvon is a great character to love, Tommy is the usual teenager on every cartoon hoping to fit in and Mutt is, well, just Mutt. On the whole, a great cartoon to watch first thing in the morning before school... especially if you've got exams later in the day.moreless
  • Gives Canadians like me a bad name.

    2.2
This show is just plan gross. It\\\\\\\'s pointless and plotless. And how the heck can this little man run around in his dirty, stinky undies in the YUKON?! I real life he would be getting frost bite and other stuff like that. Plus, the whole show just seems to be about farting and peeing and bare butts and other gross stuff. If I wanted to be grossed out I\\\\\\\'d go in a bathroom and watch someone take a crap themselves (which I wouldn\\\\\\\'t do). And to top it all off it had to be a Canadian show. That just gives Canadians like me a bad name. To put simply, it\\\\\\\'s not my kind of show. But if you like gross humer then watch this. If you don\\\\\\\'t then don\\\\\\\'t watch this.moreless
  • A good example of gross humor.

    4.4
I wasn't really a big fan of Yvon of the Yukon, but when I was younger I watched everything. The storylines were kinda of stupid but kinda made sense since it was based in a small town. If it was on today(which it is) I wouldn't really watch it because the characters were not likable at all, except Yvon, Tommy and his dad. If you like gross humor than watch this.moreless
