    Kiyo & Zatch are in the cursed castle where Kory's parents are hidden. But there is an evil mamodo name Baltro, who is just hidden inside some armor kind of armor. Will Kiyo and Zatch survive against this wicked mamodo? And will he able to save his father and the rest of the village people before anything else happens? But Kiyo and Zatch still had their hands full taking on Steng, the so-called master of Hobark Castle, and his immense mechanized Mamodo Baltro! For starters, the dominating bookkeeper had captured Folgore and Canchome and were threatening to take care of them! And to make matters worse, he found a way of taking Kiyo's book, preventing Zatch from attacking any more of the flowers that allowed the Mamodo mech to move! But Cory, the boy who's own parents were captured by the haunted knights of this castle, decided to come to the rescue in the knick of time, running an insane mad dash that kept Baltro on its toes until he was finally able to return the red book to its rightful owner! With the book returned, and a little help from Folgore and the "servents" of Steng, Zatch was finally able to take apart the remainders of the mechanized monster! But unfortunately, that wasn't the real Mamodo....but although the real Baltro did have a lot of bite, it really wasn't enough to stop a nice Zakeru from attacking. But with the situation seemingly under control, Steng and his dog-like Mamodo showed off one more spell maneuver: one that made all of their flowers attach to the castle, allowing it to collapse on its own free will! Working in a frenzy, Kiyo, Folgore and Cory rescued the prisoners of Hobark Castle, including Professor Takamine, Kiyo's father! But Kory's parents were locked away in a dungeon below the castle...and with moments to go before total collapse, Zatch, Kiyo and Kory chose to go underground to complete their mission, against the warnings of everyone there! With an insane dash, the trio made thier way down as the castle completely fell apart, but with one more lightning bolt to the sky, all was finally well in the English countryside. But not all was as well as it seemed: although Steng and Baltro had failed in their own selfish mission, Kiyo realized that "someone else" had put them up to taking Professor Takamine, especially since he had no use to those two. And this "someone else" knew exactly what to do to failures when those two returned to him: with an immemse silver lightning bolt, Baltro was sent back...while Steng was left to cringe at the sight of "the boy who looks like Zatch".....moreless

  • The conclusion of the dark castle.

    This episode concludes the last episode. Zatch and Kiyo make it to the Dark Castle. They use the 3rd spell to get passed the guards. Finally, they are there. It turns out that there a Mamodo named Baltro and his book keep who I forgot his name that are keeping the people as hostage. Baltro is this huge moster in armor. Zatch and Kiyo can not beat him. But Kiyo notices that there some wierd flowers in his armour. The same flowers that were in his father's office. Zatch and Kiyo destroy the flowers and "The Great Baltro" is reduced a little dog thing.moreless

    This episode was exciting. Baltro in his suit of armour and Zatch as a little boy shoting lightning. Great episode!

    Baltro got defeated by Zatch because Baltro uses 'Flower Power' to run the armour he had. Zatch burned the flowers with 'Zaker'.

    Baltro out of his armour was actually no threat. He was small and without his armour he was nothing.

    Zatch easily defeated Baltro, not burning his book. Zeno is the one who burns Baltros book and I'm glad! First time we see Zeno! YAY!moreless

    Folgore has been captured when keyo found Baltro's weakness. The flowers. Folgore says don't worry about us we'll be fine. Then corry shows up and Stang says you'll get more then a cut this time. Stang tries to hit him with his whip. And keyo helps him dodge while getting closer to him. You are easily distracted aren't you. Then Keyo destroyed the flours with zackair. Then baltro's real body is shown. He's a little dog. Folgore says that thismoreless

    The Flowers of Evil is the second time you shall see Baltro and Steng. The dub, in my opinion, is better than the original but there are still a few problems. The worst is Suzy and her stupidity towards nations. Then again, it was in the original and she is a complete and utter moron. On the plus side, Zeno, Zatch's doppleganger, has a creepy voice and is very strong. It is wasn't for Suzy's stupidity and the pointless appearance of Scheider, the horse mamodo who wants "mayo", this episode would have been one of the best in the series.
