    Tired of sitting around and doing nothing while Zatch and Kiyo are out fighting, Ponygon decides to find his book keeper. However, finding a book keeper is not easy and Ponygon has a though time. Just when things seem bleak, he finds a man who reminds him of a mamodo in the mamodo world. And it appears he can read Ponygon's book! Zatch appears out of nowhere and comes to congratulate Ponygon for finding his partner. However, what they don't know is that the man is the Legendary Thief Doronma! Claiming to be stealing from the rich and giving to the poor (ala Robin Hood), he puts the boys to good use; telling them to pull a wagon to the jewelry stores. The gullible Ponygon and Zatch fall for his deception and pull the wagon for Doronma, while he goes into Japan's finest jewelry stores to steal priceless jewelry. After a hard night's work Doronma has stolen more jewelry than he ever has in one night! But thats not enough! He wants to steal a diamond that he has never been able to steal before! However Ponygon and Zatch annoy the guard dogs, set off every alarm in the building, and Ponygon even ruins Doronma's hacking of the safe.

    When they get out of the building, the police have already surrounded the house; telling Doronma to surrender. Doronma can't get caught now! He's got the diamond... or not. Ponygon and Zatch take the diamond to the "poor people" (the police), leaving Doronma with nothing. Doronma surrenders himself to the police. But what about the book? Doronma tells Ponygon that he can't read the book at all! He was just pointing at a fly that was smashed on the book. Zatch cheers up Ponygon, telling him that one day, he'll find a wonderful partner too...moreless

    I thought it was pretty obvious that Doronma was a theif rather than "a person that gives gifts to the poor", which didn't give this episode pretty good suspense at one point. This episode has the always great, unobnioxous, hilarious moments to make up for that. :P

    Toward the end of the episode, watching the antics of Zatch and Ponygon (not even knowing they were stopping him from stealing) were quite funny. Doronma, good conquers theft! XD Anyway, You could tell from the first time he tricked Zatch and Ponygon that he wasn't Ponygon's book owner. :O Aww, poor little horse. D:

    Overall this seemed like a total filler episode but it was a good one. And of course, Ponygon is always filled with "Meru, Meru, Mei!" coolness. ^-^ ♥moreless

    Ponygon is sad. While Zatch and Kiyo fight for their goal to become a kind king, what has Ponygon been doing? He\'s been sitting in his dog house eating potato chips. But he\'s resolved to change! Starting today, he\'s going to find a book keeper! However, finding a partner is not easy... Will Ponygon be able to find his book keeper?

    this episode kinda reminded me of Kaito Kid from Detective Conan ( aka Case Closed ) Because the dude was known as the phantom thief in Konjiki no Gash Bell, and the same for Detective Conan! One of the very few other Anime-similarities! But also, the episode was soo awesome! MERU! MERU! MEE!
