Episode Summary

Zatch finds a mirror in a lake while catching Yellowtail and takes it home as his "treasure". At Kiyo's school a very cute transfer student has come, Shion Hibiki along with her cat Nya.There are supposed to be no cats at school, but the sensei makes an exception. Hey, he brought his wife.

Nya takes a liking to Zatch and Shion and seems to like Kiyo as well so they all walk home from school together and chat a bit. But another person with a book and a mamodo has come looking for that mirror Zatch has. Apparently, it's a demonic mirror of some sort and they need it for something. The mamodo is a pair of scissors and a tube of paste put together. Kiyo and Zatch figure out a way to stop them so that threat is gone for now. But another's right there. Seems Shion might not be as nice as we think.''moreless

    The first part of one of the best arcs in the whole series. Fantastic. This episode in itself is quite good as well. It really sets up for the later episodes in the arc quite well. The whole demonic mirror arc continues for a couple more episodes - but it is well worth it for the battle sequence alone. There are several humourous parts as well as sad parts. The thing with the teacher and pets was really funny (I don't want to say more than that for fear of giving anything away). Bottom line: Great episode. Don't miss it.moreless

    This episode is a very good episode. It is a filler episode, but it is still pretty good. I do not like Shion's character as much, or her mamodo partner Nya, but I guess they are okay. I like this whole saga with the mamodo mirrors. It is a really good saga. I wonder if Zatch is so attached to the mirror because it is from the mamodo world. That is probally why, because he lost his memory, he doesn't remember anything from the mamodo world so this little mirror piece must have done something to trigger a memory or something.moreless

    I wanna know what the deal with the mirror is all ready!! It's driving me crazy!!!! Hee, hee. You can tell I'm impatient about it. I'm certain it has a lot to do with the momodo battles, but...what?

    I love Shion's cat. I'm definitely a cat person. But I doubt it's a cat--gotta be a momodo. *sighs* Zatch and Kiyo are about to have their hands full. It's obvious.

    It's funny when Suzi gets all jealous when Kiyo and Shion hand out together. Kiyo'd better watch out...who knows what she'll do? *shudders and then laughs*

    This episode is a major cliffhanger. It'll leave you begging to find out what happens next for certain.moreless

    This episode was really good! Zatch finds a mirror piece and he loves it so. What he doesn't know is that that mirror piece is part of the Demonic mirror which powers now are unknown.

    Shion and Nea first appear. Shion seems nice and Nea is such a cute little kitty. Zatch likes Nea too.

    When Shion and Kiyo were hanging out this strange man attacks from no where mysteriously. And demands a battle with Zatch. The battle was really funny! The first spell made me crack up. The man threw a glue stick in the air along with a scissors and it created a mamotoe! That was so funny!

    Cut n' Pastes spells were dangerous and funny! It's like saying "Scissors attack!" but we all know Scissors don't seem a big threat until someone like Cut n' Paste uses it!

    Cut n' Pastes last spell was amazing! It was a lot of Scissors made up into a big scissor monster. A very clever idea but a very stupid one at that. But I'll give The mamodoe and the bookholder a chance. They didn't know that it would be so easy to defeat that spell. All Zatch had to do was used 'Jikerdor' with the help of Kiyo and Bam! Cut n' Paste returns to the Mamodoe world.

    I'd have to say that this was a very funny/exciting episode. We need more episodes like this!moreless
