  • good episode

Bari is an extremely strong mamodo that is sick of fighting weaklings. His partner Gustav tells Bari of a rumor about an extremely strong mamodo in Japan named Zatch Bell that other mamodos go to battle and never come back. Interested, Bari flies to Japan with Gustav and challenges Zatch to a duel. He tells Zatch to meet at a warehouse where they will fight. Bari arrives there first to find a group of thugs. He blasts them away with his Zonis spell and finds a girl still hiding in the warehouse. Bari tells her to leave but the girl is afraid that her friends who are upstairs will get hurt! Bari attacks her when Zatch and Kiyo appear to save the day. The girl escapes and they exchange attacks when Zatch headbutts Bari head on. Bari throws Zatch back at Kiyo who sees a chance and kicks him upstairs to save the girls. Suddenly, Bari uses his Zonis spell to fly towards Zatch. Kiyo rushes up and blocks Bari while Zatch jumps out the window with the girls. Annoyed that Kiyo blocked him, Bari punches him. Zatch rushes back to find Kiyo on the ground. He knocks Bari back and asks: "Kiyo! Are you alright? Kiyo?" Kiyo gets up. "We can't let innocent people get hurt in our battles or we would be no better than the rest of them. There's only one thing to do..." Kiyo says. "We have to defeat them!" Zatch responds. "In order to become a kind king!"moreless
  • the most fierce battle yet!

Zatch continues his match with Bari, making is end with a power-filled fist fight! in the end, after a long, action-packed fight, Bari owns Zatch. The fight was so close. many other people dont like the episode because Zatch loses, but I find it as a very good episode. Besides, the sieres wouldnt be as good If Zatch and Kiyo always baets everyone. Then the show would be like The Prince of Tennis! in the begining, I thought that Bari would lose, But he proved me wrong and turned out to Be a worthy opponetwho beat Zatch with ease.he might even become king.moreless
  • Zatch and Bari fight to the end.

This was a really good episode because, at first you think Zatch will find some way to prevail, but he gets his behind kicked. Bari is the first opponent to ever beat Zatch but, he didn't burn the book. Bari was a mamodo without a cause and thanks to Zatch he found a cause. Zatch and Kiyo's determination to win kept them fighting long enough to where Bari realized he was missing something, so in exchange for finding what he was missing, he left Zatch keep his book. This was a clever episode to show how Zatch still isn't the strongest mamodo but, he has a good heart.moreless
  • Bari and zatch continue to fight, but kiyo is spent so zatch resolves to hand to hand combat and the little guy prevails agianst the strong mamodo, but in the end bari and gustav walk away, clealy having beaten zatch and kiyo.moreless

i loved this episode! it was so exciting, and i was cheering for zatch the whole time, i never thought the duel would end in a kind of draw, but i was gald all the same. Zatch was clearly ready to collaspe. I thought that it was werid how bari continued to hold back, but the hand to hand combat that he and zatch did and how zatch flew at him was very cool.moreless
  • The battle between Zatch and Bari reaches its climax!

Zatch and Kiyo continue their fight with Bari and Gustav. The battle goes on until Zatch and Kiyo eventually resort to their fourth spell: Bao Zakeruga. Unfortunately, Bari and Gustav still stand. Kiyo runs out of ideas and steam to keep him going, but Zatch (unable to use any spells) fights on to protect Kiyo. Bari and Gustav decide to leave the battle, but before they went off, they remind Kiyo and Zatch that they had the chance to destroy Kiyo's red book.

This episode is the conclusion to Zatch and Bari's battle. It had a lot of action with spells being casted all over the place. The only negative I have about this episode is the fact that this is Bari's and Gustav's last appearances in the show until episode 90-something.moreless
